So, I was trying to be efficient and give my back two wheels to my buddy for powder coating before the big East Coast storm hits - when I wouldn’t be driving the car anyways.

My plan was to put the spare from the G on one side and the spare from my FX50 on the other side but unfortunately the FX50s spare is so damn big that I can’t fit in the wheel well of the G!

Anyways, a bit of a fail, but the one thing that I learned in the process is that the duck feet wheels are damn heavy! I was very surprised of how heavy they are for an 18 inch wheel.

Is 25lbs per wheel heavy? I weighed the 8.5" and its 25lbs, but the 7.5" wheel weighs a little less. I weighed chrome vs. painted (I own both) and there was zero difference in weight.

I want to say the highly coveted G35 19" Rays are 22/23lbs, but they also require heavier 19" tires.

I run PS-4S, which were some of the lightest 18" tires when I was shopping.

For comparison, my new konigs are 19.5lb

25 lbs for 18x8.5" cast aluminum wheels is about right.

If you're going to try and pretend to be a customer, at least consider your username choice next time...

Anyway, here's a cool photo of my interior. Threw a Broadway in to wrap up the interior changes, going to give it a nice detail next week. All that's left is to toss a Bride in for the driver's seat and I think I'm finished messing around in there.

Deleted the advertisement. Will leave the user for now as they may own a G/Z.

You get an A+ for originality on this one. That wood is classy as hell.

Thanks, really happy with how it's turned out. I think having black spokes instead of the usual silver helps a ton.

Embarking on a journey to install a new Oil Temp and Pressure gauge.

Would be interested in your feedback on the thread I started here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/audio-v...-pressure.html

Put my center stack back together.

Need to find the 3D print clock module/gauge adapter and finish that project up.

I like the idea of a gauge where the clock goes. I saw this thread last year, and thought about trying it at some point. I am sure you have seen it already... https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...gauge-pod.html

Maybe you can get a broken or inexpensive clock from eBay to cannibalize it for the sides to fill the area the gauge does not fill?

Such a tease, Hexotic, you are so, so naughty...
Apple Watch? (or equiv.)?
That would be more inline with what I would like to have rather than a 2" eyesore of a gauge.
I am sure Frank will update as when time permits...

Hahaha, he's teasing me too. And yeah I believe it's an iWatch as a base. It's touch screen and scrollable with multiple gauges as far as I understand.

As Spock would say, "Fascinating." I am guessing with his bluetooth server device paired with the Apple Watch (or whichever device) as the display... That, or the GTR gauges, would be the answer to my needs.
