Noticed a couple weeks ago that my clutch master had started leaking. Took that as an opportunity to also add this oil cooler and a PS cooler (didn't grab a photo because I'm dumb). Clutch feels great and hopefully temps will stay down on the track now, still need to get my Defi unit installed/setup to keep track of oil pressure and water temp. Should have that done in the next few weeks.
Weather was beautiful today, although still winter. Anyway, I drove the car today. And while driving the G isn't really anything noteworthy, it actually was for me, LOL. I think it's been over two months, sitting in the garage with the battery tender on it.
I'm the same boat. What do you recommend for wax/ ceramic coating the wheels?
Clean and dry with any household cleaner, buff dry. Then claybar, dry and buff. Then I use Seal & Squeal from Lithium Products, buff clean again. Then I clean the tire with tire foam, wipe clean and treat them with MacGuiars tire gel. When I get into it, I'll probably do one a day. To your point, I've procrastinated the entire winter.
I have not been on the forum in a long while, so here is my "What did you do to your sedan in the past six months?"
1. Gave someone a love tap!
2. Slid off the road into a snowbank and street sign.
3. Replaced my alternator.
4. Yesterday my CSC went out.
I've got some work to do!
Waiting (im)patiently to get into my mechanic and body shop to wrap up my build.
Body shop: round two of blacking out the window trim (took three tries to get the drivers trim piece without it being damaged during shipment!), OEM spoiler and OEM chin spoiler from Z1.
Mechanic: front wheel hubs, 15mm spacers all around and stainless steel brake lines (leftover from an incorrect order for my dead G37X - fate must have known that I was going to get an S!)
Lots of backlogs due to our bad weather here recently - expecting to get the mechanical done next week, hoping for the paint as well.
If you’ve never done BG FrigiClean to clean out the AC system I HIGHLY recommend it. I did the G last week (and it wasn’t this bad), but this is what came out of my AC drainage line after performing the service on my FX. Nasty. You can get the kit on Amazon for $50 vs the dealer service and your AC will be colder and smell amazing when you are done. Of course you do the cabin filter at the same time. Easy procedure as you can actually get to all of the screws to remove the glove box without actually separating the glove box from the trim - the whole thing comes out as one piece.
