Should have 5mm more room to go out there, will be close in the front though since the fenders aren't rolled like the back.

Tires would be 3/4" shorter so a 3/8" drop in height from your current 255/40s

The main issue would be that front fender edge angled rather than rolled, under hard compression you may make contact there.

Hey everyone,
yet another noob to the wheel/tires world (sorry in advance). I have the 2013 oem stock 19' sport rims on my journey coupe. I want to get lowered on eibachs and I know an alignment is need after 2 weeks or so, but will I need ANY other aftermarket suspension components or am I good? Also, after I get the springs on, what wheel spacers should I run to not have the tuck (nor poked) look without having to worry about anything else.

A rear camber kit is recommended, some get by without one, SPC makes them for about $165 for the two arms and two toe bolts. You can also go w/ the 4 bolt kit, one set for the OEM camber arm adjusters and one set for the toe adjustment. This requires a dremel tool to elongate the slots for the bolts to slide further from OEM setup.

As far as spacers, just get everything done, let it settle, then decide how far out you want to go, probably in the 20mm range give or take.

AWD Sedan dropped on coils, would 19x10 +40 wheels fit safely and if so what would be a safe tire size to run? These wheels are also available in 19x8.5+35 which I know is safe, but would probably need a space to sit flush. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

This is our customer's car. Front may come in TOO far as the OEM is only 19x8 +45 / 19x8.5 +43 and the 19x10 +40 has inner rim coming in about 20mm more than stock.

Thanks to blnewt for the help with the offsets! You're truly an asset to this site!

Thanks. I think the rear looks perfect, I assumed the fronts might be too aggressive/wide. A 285/35R19 in the rear and a 245/40R19 in the front leave a .7% difference in overall height, but I'm not sure if that is too much to handle for an AWD car.

With the stock front tire at 245/40/19, you can do 275/35/19 in the rear and it'll be down to a 0.5% difference.

With AWD I think you are safe up to 1% but I believe some people have exceeded that difference without issues.

That 1% front to back diameter variance becomes a problem at higher speeds, speeds over 80 mph have caused the AWD light to come on with a variance of 1.2% IIRC. The closer you get to zero variance the more protection you will have as your speeds go up.

Ok so lowered on eibachs, I'm planning on getting some 19x9.5 +20 rohanas all around, looking to achieve a flushed look. Unfortunately I need to use my stock tires because I just bought a new set. Would these offsets possibly poke too much? I don't mind if I poke a little bit just not too much. And when time has come for new tires, what's the best squared tire setup I should run?

Any other advice will help too

Stock tires (F) 225/45 (R) 245/40

The 9.5 +20 will be flush on the coupe (wheels will poke just a bit outside the fender a few mm). When the time comes I'd run 255/40 all around.
Here's Ryne's coupe on 19x9.5+25 on 255s, your wheels would be 5mm further out

And another, 19x9.5 +18 on 255s so yours would be 2mm inside from this, nice fit FWIW.
