Interestingly, way back when I bought a new OEM cowl for my 2004 G35 coupe assuming that over time the original cowl would fade and need to be replaced, To this day, that damn original cowl still looks perfect! Can’t explain it. It seems like cowls, along with headlights, etc have some good batches that look good forever and some bad batches that fade, yellow, etc prematurely.
It's amazing how well everything on these cars hold up when not asked to endure direct sunlight.
I have a confession to make. I am a liar and should not be trusted. Earlier I made a bold statement that I am not spending any more money on this car. That was a fat lie and I am sorry.
With great shame, I am picking up my order on Saturday.

Ha! Been there! Welcome to the club. Also, nice purchase!
Did a test fit yesterday, the spokes are pretty concave and touch the brakes, so instead of a +25, Ill be running a +35 with a 10mm spacer. Going to have to do extended studs finally. 18x9.5+35(-10).
Did some AI mockups, it made them into 19"s and lost one of the 6 split spokes, but yeah, still a good visual. Looking forward to springtime. New coilovers, new wheels.

Those have similar design to my wheels. Love the bronze color!.
The Forgestars are nice. 5 split spoke definitely more breathing room. I was kind of limited in the choice of wheel because I want to use the same tires since I just bought a new set of Michelins last year. Konig came through with technical drawings and lots of advice. Amazing customer service. They're also like 8lb lighter than the reps Im currently using. 20lb per wheel. Ill post of the actual wheels when I pick them up this weekend.
You need that whitespace between the spokes so you can see the calipers and rotors.
Forged aluminum... big money, lighter wheel. If you're dropping weight on each corner, I bet you'll notice that on the quick maneuvers. Do you have any roundabouts near you? That's the closest thing you'll get to a slalom that isn't an auto-x course.

lol, yeah a few smaller ones near me, but I drive to the office once every few months on the other side of Toronto and they have them at every intersection in that part. Definitely going to have some fun with it. And the price wasnt even that bad. Prices in CAD, so US pricing is 28% less, Wheels $1800, spacers $120, ARP studs $300, new set of TPMS $250, new hub adapters $20, $2490 total. So around 1.8k USD, and you US guys would probably pay even less since no import/tariffs included in the price. Hell of a deal for the quality of the wheels.
Finally got around to installing the bumpsteer kit for my car. I also kinda owe KC240SR and socketz67 some pictures of my tie rod angles as they uploaded theirs.
Stock:
SPL:
At least to my eyes, the stock arms didn't actually seem too far off. But initial impressions on the SPL outers w/ a .125" spacer seem to have reduced the darty nature. There's this one road where a divot would pull me to the ditch after lowering the car on wider wheels. I thought it was bumpsteer issues plus a relatively wider front tire (265), but didn't see too big of an angle after looking underneath and comparing to their images. Drove that road again, and it seems to have been reduced a good amount. I can't say it definitively just yet cuz maybe I took the bump differently, or my toe changed ever so slightly after install. Also probably helps that I have new inner tie rods, and the SPL arms are a solid rod end.
Also from the previous weeks, I've installed Paragon/CZP 2-Piece rotors, plus rebuilding all 4 calipers. Took way longer than it should have to remove all the air in the system (due to my stupidity), but the brake pedal has never felt this firm. Pretty noticeable improvement in ride quality imo. Bumps don't feel as aggressive at the same damper settings
They are very nice imo. Relatively simple looking, but that's why I like them. Saves about 10 lbs per corner up front and about 5 lbs per corner in the rear, on par with Z1's kit
$1800 for the set vs. $1650 for Z1. That seems very comparable, particularly if you like these Paragon rotors better. I paid $980 for the Z1 set six years ago, and even that hurt, LOL.
I wonder how those rotors will look after the black is worn off the pad contact? No wait, you posted of pic of the rear after bed-in. Looks totally fine.
Oh wow, Z1 has a $550 discount going on right now for the full set at $1100.
The specific all black CZP rotors were discounted to about $680 for fronts and $680 for rears (this price has been steady this whole year). Then the additional 10% off for Black Friday came out to just around $1225. Unfortunately, you only get the option of black hats instead of their kinda bronze bronze-looking clear anodizing. I personally have a bias against Z1 from experience with their branded parts and customer service, so for me at least, they weren't an option.
But it seems people really like Z1's 2-piece rotor kit. And that current discounted price is a pretty good deal for a quality set of 2-piece rotors. The next thing that'll hurt with Paragon/CZP is purchasing replacement rings. Nearly $600 vs $340 for the fronts...
