Thank you so much Bl!

The wheels currently have 225/45/18 F 255/45/18 R (rears are due to be replaced though), luckily he doesn't have an AWD model so we don't have to worry about that system's restraints, but I'm not sure if his VDC system would allow it. I know I didn't have any issues running them on my 1st gen coupe!

Thank you!
Was a bit off on the 8.5s they're actually +50, and here's all the OEM wheel info here. The 8" +30s will extend about 20mm further out from your 7.5s

Those will be ok, but not great, would be best to run 245/45/18s all around when the time comes for new tires or if you like the 255s in back go w/ a 255/40 for a better match to your 225/45

So I've settled on some Work CR Ultimates...but I'm having trouble picking out an offset. I have other details nailed down, as follows:

Front:
19x8.5
245/40/19
+35 or +25 offset

Rear:
19x9.5
275/35/19
+38 or +25 offset

I do want to sit the wheels more flush to the fender, but not so far that it will rub on bumps. Someone recommended +25 on the front and +38 on the rear, but I called shenanigans on it because the front tires will be further away than the rears, creating this "trike" sort of layout. So I want to avoid that...I can either run +25 on front and rear, or run +35 front and +25 rear, or +35 front and +38 rear.

I will probably be lowering via Swift springs soon, so that's also another consideration. I'd actually prefer +25 front and rear for a more aggressive look, but not sure if the rear will rub as a result, or if cambering will be required for the rears.

You can go quite a bit more aggressive if you don't mind running a bit narrower back tire. You could run a 19x9.5 +38 in front on 245/40 and a 19x10.5 +32 in back on 255/35s, this will give you a deep concave front and a super deep concave rear for a very aggressive look compared to a semi deep/deep combo w/ the shallow 8.5 front wheel. Check Rynes setup in back here w/ a 10.5 +25, your 10.5 +32 wheel will be 7mm further in for a bit more room. You could esentially run a 265/35 in back for the same fit as Ryne has w/ his 255s on a +25.

And here's another coupe w/ even more offset (a +12 front & back) on 255s so this should ease your mind

As far as lowering, you might consider Tein Basis coilovers, about $600 and are getting good reviews, and you can set the height exactly as you want

Hi, I'm new to the forum and just recently purchased a G37x coupe. I'd like to get some nifty looking wheels for it and I've done just a bit of research and settled with some Niche Targa wheels. But I was wondering if the sizes below will work with what I have in mind, which is to have it flushed, with no rubbing on stock suspension and a staggered setup. The setup I have mind are as follows:

Front:
20x8.5
245/35/20

Rear:
20x10
275/30/20

If I could be even more aggressive with the setup without having to do any kind of modification to the suspension or fender, that would be great. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Either change your front tire to a 235/35 or your rear to a 285/30, either of those changes will get you a 0.07% front to rear diameter diference which is critical to running a staggered AWD setup.
What offsets are you wanting, that's also the other key here.
Welcome to the site!

Okay, did my Googling and read up this thread.

2008 G37S Coupe, stock height front, .5" drop rear
245/40/19 front tires and 275/35/19 rear

Looking at 19x9.5 +35 front and 19x10.5 +35 rear. From what I've read so far front should be flush and rear might be tucked a tad. Should I go to +25 rear? Will I need to trim the bumper bracket/fender liners?

I do eventually want to move up to 275s up front and 305s in the rear, will these wheels be wide enough?

+35s in back will be OK, if you plan on running 305s down the road then stay away from the +25s. I ran 295s on 10" wheels and the fit was fine on the wheel, a 305 on a 10.5" is a decent fit on that wheel. If you do run 305s on a 10.5 +35 you may have to run extra camber and trim the bracket & liner.

Hi BL,

One more question I am almost sure that this set-up will fit, but better safe than sorry... right.

18x9 +35 wheels with 255 45 18 tires

Thanks again

Bingo!
We have a winner
255s will be just inside the fender under full compression so you may get a bit of rubbing since the front fender edge isn't flat rolled like the rear.

So I couldn't get the 370Z wheels for cheap but I found a good deal for some AME TM02 Tracers.

Size is 19x9.5 +22 & 19x10.5 +22
245/35 & 275/35, will these have any issues with a stock height G37 Sedan with Akebonos? Don't want to run spacers

Thanks

Those will definitely poke, don't think you'll be happy w/ the look and especially without a drop.
For those wheels sizes, offset in the +35 to +45 range would be a much easier fit and a better overall look.

In that case what size Enkei RPF1s in 18s would make it sit flush and clear Akebonos?

Here you go, and he's running 245/45/18s all around

I am leaning toward TSW Interlagos in 19x9 32mm front with 245/40 tires and 19x9.5 41mm with 275/35 rear for my G37S sedan 6spd. I am currently lowered on Tein Basis coilovers. I am sure the rear will fit ok, but curious about the front. I think it would work as most people on the 370Z sport 19x9 front wheels w/ a 47mm offset run a good sized spacer. I really like the 370Z sport wheels, but I really do not want to run spacers for track days if I can help it.

They also make the TSW Interlagos in 19x8.5, but it has a 45mm offset so I would imagine I would need a good sized spacer to make it look relatively flush like the 370Z sport 19" wheels. Thoughts?
