Yes that gap, the exhaust isnt sitting in the hanger but floating in it because the mufflers are holding them up so just adjust your mufflers to sit a tiny bit lower and it should solve your issues.

Thanks a lot. I'm a little unsure where you're saying to put washers or spacers.

Went to go drive today, and my blower motor is making a horrible noise. Time for my FOURTH blower!

At least the advance auto warranty keeps em coming for free.....

You see the bracket floating in the air to the right of the exhaust tip? There are two studs that go through them, you can put some washers in-between the bracket and the car to lower the mufflers which will in turn lower your midpipes away from the swaybar. It may not be 100% the solution but that and some other massaging of the flanges will likely get you there.

Are they easy to swap? Iirc after 3rd replacement you might be able to get store credit.

I think I got it. Between the chassis and the circled part, space it out.

What did you do to your Sedan today?-1osmkud.png

What about the left tip coming out further past the bumper than the right tip? Any ideas on that?

Yup! It's an aftermarket exhaust so fitment can vary and from your pic the left tip isn't that much further out, there really isn't a way to adjust that. You can try loosen all the flanges and see if any adjustment helps that but nothing really directly to tweak it.

The exhaust will expand when hot, see what the tips look like once you drive it for a bit.

Its easy... like 3 screws and a clip. I got it from advance auto, so far they have all been covered by warranty.

I think water is coming in from the fresh air vent, but i'm not sure why or how to stop it, other than just cover that vent up when i don't use the car

Put some sort of sealant on the windshield cowl piece above the vent. Otherwise, water runs right down into the blower when it rains or you wash the car. The felt on the bottom of the cowl piece probably lasted a year max.

That was my thought. I have that Butyl rubber stuff used for sealing headlights... might use that.

Given your 3d printing expertise, you could make a drip shield that snaps onto the fresh air duct.

Replaced my battery today and shed about 40-45lbs in the process. I put in an Antigravity ATX-30 RS that weighs about 6lbs and made myself a cheapo box with some spare wood to fit it in there snug. The stock battery holder actually worked pretty well.

So my weight savings mods are:
RHFCs: 10.4lbs
Spare + tools: 35lbs I think (I'd have to look it up to confirm)
Engine cover, hood liner, trunk liner: 5lbs
Lightweight wheels: 25lbs rotational + unsprung
Battery: 40-45lbs

Still planning to get 2 piece F+R rotors very soon which will save another 20lbs up front and 8-10 in the rear, and also going to get a 12.5lb flywheel for another 20~lbs weight loss.
