Thanks, man! Yup, staggered set-up with 255/30R20's up front and 305/25R20's in the rear.
305's on a G sedan... That must get some serious double-takes.
Then again, the car really isn't designed to showcase tire width, so when someone notices those monsters, I suspect it's like a little discovery rush. Kind of like when people take notice of the BBK.
I do a lot of driving, and usually run her through a car wash once a week or so for the rain-x, wax, et cetera. I've never put a power washer on it, but the weekend before last, my wife and her brother were washing the van and his car (16 Camaro SS) with the power washer and decided (without asking or telling me) to do something nice and wash mine. They'd already done the two other cars, and had mine mostly done when he hit the front bumper and about a dollar-bill sized bit of paint just blew off. The car fax for the car said it had been in a front-end collision, so I'm wondering if some repair shop did a shoddy job on the front bumper replacement. Either way, this is what I'm dealing with:
He said he'd pay to fix it, what do you think is my best option? I drive around 600 miles a week, so I've already got a bunch of stone-chips and such. Is it worth trying to sand/spray it myself or should I just take it to a shop? Any idea what such a thing would cost?
It would've come off anyway, he just helped you find the problem sooner.

A proper respray would be like... $500ish probably.
Thanks guys, that was my suspicion as well, since he did not only the rest of my car, but 2 other cars without issue. That being the case, I don't think it would be right to ask him to pay. Thanks for the info, I'll get some quotes on a respray.

If your handy with the wrenches then you might want to consider pulling the bumper yourself and bringing into the paint shop loose. You may get a considerably better deal if you do this, plus you shouldn't have any masking lines that might occur if it's painted on the car. The shop I go to painted my front bumper for $250 when I brought it to them loose... They quoted $550 if it was left the car.

Sharp thinking here ^. It's relatively easy to drop the bumper, well worth it even if you get half the discount 2GoRNot2G did. And no masking lines would just be a welcome bonus.
Today I misjudged the curb as I parked the car, and put a few scratches into the lower front bumper.
Pulling up to a street of shops. There were brick columns along the sidewalk up to the curb, but what threw me was that the columns themselves were recessed by two feet, and the curb was pretty high. Damage is really almost impossible to see... but I see it, dammit.
This hasn't happened to me in maybe 3 years. I feel like an idiot.
I'm VERY happy to say that I paid off my entire car in less than 1 year of ownership! It's nice having one less payment to worry about. Now, to start shopping for a CTS-V wagon.
