Have you considered staining the seat threads blue? I wonder if that would work together, or be too over the top. Problem is (and AFAIK), it's a one-way decision.

No boot ring under the ****? That seems awkward.

Oh hey... I just researched the Tommy Kaira **** a little bit, and realized the emblem comes in a variety of colors. Go figure.

LMAO, howd I know you would comment on this....The stitching pattern is my favorite part about it! I played baseball professionally many moons ago, so the baseball stitching is dear to my heart.

No boot ring yet, havent found one that I like nor one that matches the ****.

As for the matching seats...Ive thought about it over and over again with fabric dye...like you said..I believe its all or nothing and I'd have to make sure the colors match 100% before I'd commit to it. Although I think it would actually look good as the amount of stitching showing in the seats is very suttle.

Well hey, that just became part of the story, which in of itself makes the choice pretty cool, regardless of some random forum opinion.

Good for you.

It did come with a shield , for the life of me I can't figure out where the fk it goes, ....a lot of intakes do nothing but suck in hot air ...and a shield could only do so much, hence I never mentioned CAI...

They're supposed to go under the filters, to block engine heat. Something like this (this is the K&N intake but all short ram intakes are generally set up this way)

Right. But you replaced a sealed and shielded intake.

There are short ram intakes like the R2C that they at least tried to seal up and shield

I'd try and figure out the shield that came with it

Yeah the tail as turn is pretty cool. I chuckle now when I see a G37 with stock turn signals. I never realized how weak they were until I saw this mod on here...

The most annoying (and perhaps dumbest) part is that the incandescent bulb is located within the LED rings, so whenever the brakes are applied it makes it extremely hard to see the turn signal.

I've had so many people honk at me because they didn't know I was turning even though I had my signal on.

This is making me second guess the JDM tails... I might just get the DD turn as tails kit.

With the JDM tails the turn signals are a lot more visible since they are amber. I've driven behind someone with the JDM tails and they look quite good. However for the price I cannot justify getting them lol.

If I hadn't already replaced my turn signals with LED bulbs, I would definitely pull the trigger on the DD kit.
