Ahh-h-h!! A close-up! You're killing me, man. I love those wheels in that finish. It's the first time in a while that I saw a setup I'd consider replacing my Vossens for.

Still think the decal should be black. Sorry for repeating that. And the chrome lugs have too much pop. Otherwise... freaking beautiful.

Hey, assuming you have already, repeat the full specs, please. Size, offset, unshod weight front and back.

These sure do look good huh? 😬

I respect your opinion about the black sticker though even if I agree with you, I cannot do a thing about it. I cleared over them. 😳

I do like the red even more now with these wheels though.

These are all front wheels. 9.5x19 +40 with 255/40/19 tires.

I burned through 20 minutes just shopping your wheels on to my car. Can't recall the last time I did that.

Yes. They do look great. If a choice were to be had, and it were my choice for your car, then I'd go with a maroon metallic powdercoat on the calipers, with black INFINITI decals. Or maybe gunmetal calipers, just a shade lighter than the wheels. And in the branded spokes, I'd think about filling the engraved NISMO letters with gloss black, and a body-color VR red for the "O". But in truth, I'd probably think about it a long time. And I'd probably keep the burger caps, but keep my opinions open to replacing them with Fujis. And definitely find gloss-black, washer-style lug nuts. Maybe a set of slotted rotors when the time comes, but not drilled.

NISMO

And the weight on these at 19 x 9.5? No wait, I'm trying to figure that out now. I'm finding statements that these are about 20 pounds. Is that right?

Lowered at +40 in the front on 9.5" wheels... what's the vertical fitment like against the fender? Need some fitment shots front and back.

Dembflyr, looks like you've got John excited, that's a very positive sign And agree w/ almost 100% of what he said, those wheels, in that shade look crazy-good on your red G. But I think the red stickers go well, since you have a red G and the copper/orange calipers are a nice contrast to the red body but not too loud.*****Just a great job oeverall, and do agree w/ John about the lug nuts, the black mag-style lug nuts aren't that easy to find but would really complete the look, oh & leave the burger caps ****Oh, also great job finding 4 Nismo fronts, a much easier fit than trying to get those aggressive rears on the back. Hats-off!

I've always said that at some point, maybe around year seven or eight into ownership, I might ditch the Vossens for a light-weight rim. But this is the first time something actually got on that list as a replacement. Kind of surprised me.

So yeah, this works. These NISMO rims in that particular finish.

The day I bought this car I knew that the nismo wheels would be high on my wish list.
Darker lug nuts are definitely on the list now too. I wasn't intending to purchase wheels any time soon but these came available and I jumped on them.

I believe they are a tick under 20lbs. I'll work on getting some better fitment shots. It'll be a few days as I leave for work and I'm on the road for the better part of a week.

It is very similar to this though. These are my winter wheels with 20mm spacers.
The nismo wheels are 2mm further out than these. Also the rear is not as low anymore. I followed your thread about installing spacers to bring the rear up about a 1/2 inch. So thanks for starting that thread. 👍🏼

Thanks for the compliment. I agree that the red is the right choice. I try to have things flow together when I decide on a color scheme. A little contrast and a little flow. lol

As I said above, I will use the winter down time to see what I can find as far as better lug nut options.

The burgers are growing on me.

I can't take the credit for putting the set together. I bought them that way. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time to take advantage of it.

I don't mind the square set one bit. This car is my daily and I wanted tire longevity with the set up.

New wheels look great. Always been a fan of those NISMO 370Z wheels. And the burnt copper Brembo caliper color really makes those Akebono's pop. Nice job.

How's the weather in Indiana by the way? I'll be out there in Indy and Columbus, IN in a few weeks to visit my Sister and Parents.

AFAIK, the staggered setup is there for increased contact on the drive wheels. Some people do it for looks. The OEM sport rims are staggered, however, and it certainly doesn't look that way.

Meh. Those things are 9.5" wide. Nuff said, and I wouldn't sweat it.

Yeah, some people get wrapped up in the squared/staggered issue. 9.5" with 255's should give good grip.

The factory sport tires were 20mm different if memory serves. Not going to make much difference.

Sedan OEM RWD Sport wheels... 8.5" rear at 245, 7.5" front at 225. So you're running 255 all around now. Brad is the tire/wheel guy on the forum, so if he has an opinion, I'd defer to it. But yeah, you only went up 10mm in width at the drive wheels.

Should be a great setup, my 9.5s running on 245s has been really good, but I'm going to run 255s when it's time for new tires, there's room to go out on mine. Also you didn't go too wide as to see much in the way of tramlining, should track real well and feel a bit more planted.

I was thinking about gunmetal Akebono calipers on my car... but that maroon metallic looks realllllly nice.

Please let me know if you know where to buy black lug nuts that are compatible with OEM wheels.

Been looking forever but yet to find anything...
