What did you do to your Sedan today?
19x9.75" +38 on 245/40 all around. I may add spacers. Definitely looks nice, but not the amount of poke I was hoping for.
I also haven't gotten an alignment yet and noticed I have pretty mild negative camber in the rears. I probably have a bit of neg. camber in the front as well, but it's not as noticeable as the rears. Camber might be the reason I'm not getting the poke I was looking for. You can see the bottom of the wheel poking out quite a bit while the top of the wheel is tucking.

How do I measure the gap to determine what size spacer I should buy? Let's say the measurement from the top of the wheel to my desired poke distance is 1". Do I buy a 1" (25mm) spacer? The lower the offset, the further the wheel pokes out, correct? So if purchase 25mm spacers and my wheels are +38 offset, does the spacer essentially make it a +13 offset?

Just my opinion, but you're very close to a perfect fit there, get it aligned and see where you're at. I think something like a 5mm would be about right, but I'm old
His fronts looks flush, and his rears appear to be poking a little bit, with tires downsized and stretched to accommodate the drop.

Melophile, your setup looks great to me. Eye of the behold and all that, but I think you're already in a good place.

Get it aligned before doing anything else. I don't have camber kits and my camber went from like -3 to -2.3... which doesn't seem like a lot but it actually made a big difference.
As far as the spacer, i measured from the outer edge of the tire to the inner edge of the fender

Hard to say just from those pics but I'm guessing you're in the -2.5 range, getting it around -1.5 should get the top edge of those tires about a 1/4" closer to the fender and should get your fit just about spot-on.
