Yeah I stopped by yesterday to pick one up...$45

Now I'm trying to figure out the software that was emailed to me for the Uprev tune.

 

Cable won't do anything when plugged in to my computer...Stillen told me to call uprev, uprev told me they can't do anything because it's Stillen's proproetary software, Stillen just told me "oh, you just need to buy another $500 cable". I have an appointment to get my car dyno tuned at stillen on the 18th and I just wanted to get the base tune on the car to make sure it works before I tow the car all the way to them to find out something is messed up...what a crappy situation.

The plug for the uprev cable is so flimsy I'm not even confident it's physically connected properly but I don't want to break it by jamming it in there...anyone on here have any advice?

 

I am trying to find out what the quarter mile time is for the Stillen SC kit on the G37. Any G37. Coupe, Sedan, X, whatever.

Google = No relevant results.

Dragtimes = No stillen S/C runs there.

This forum = No one posted their Stillen supercharged quarter mile times as far as I can find, after reading hundreds of posts from dozens of threads. Plenty of cool dyno results, but not one single quarter mile time.

Youtube = Only one video showing a Stillen supercharged G37 taking a leisurely roll down the drag strip to produce mid 13s.

Stillen representative over the phone today: "We don't quote quarter mile times because there are so many variables." Fair enough, but I want to see more than one youtube video showing a mid 13. I hope that doesn't mean that's the norm for their kit, hard to say with just one example.


So.. Quarter mile time for Stillen supercharger? Anyone?

Never tracked mine and to be honest I never cared for 1/4 mile times. I just enjoy it daily with all the added power, maybe one day I will go run it on the track.

 

Finally got the tune on the car and found out I'm throwing two codes that don't allow the car to stay running. P2133, P0228. I've researched it a bit and could be a pinched wire or a new TB. Any have any experience with either of these?

 

I've seen this happen before. Usually it is when the FPR isn't bent out of the way enough and the wires for the new TB connector get bent/pinched. Also happens when people just extend the wires and use the wrong grade/gauge of wire to do so. Could be something else, but that would be what I would check first along with the pin connectors.

 

With proper Tracking should be in the mid 12's 12.5 or better. I was reading guys trapping at 117.

 

Those 30 pages were a good read, keep them coming. We are on a Dyno Dynamics and looking forward to see what a g37S will spit out on our dyno with this SC kit.

 

Only got 388 at the wheels at Stillen. I have a friend who lost 30whp just going from one dynojet in SD to Stillen's dynojet, so who knows exactly where I sit...

 

What is your complete setup?

Curious about the warranty that Stillen offers with their CARB Legal Kit. Is it just a third party warranty company that covers the car and accepts the supercharger as a covered warranty item? Has anyone here purchased the warranty?

 

Last time I checked they don't offer the warranty anymore. When I bought my kit I asked them multiple times for the warranty, but apparently the company that provides the warranty is out of business.
