Not sure if he has any others on site but he's a +18, you'd have 12mm more to go out if you want more tire. Staffer Lt8che was running 18x9.5 +30 on 265s and his fitment was spot-on, but 265s aren't as easy to source

The 265/40r18 on the 18x9.5 +30 fit perfect with the eibach drop
The 275/40r18 on the 18.9.5 +35 fit pretty well too, a slight tuck

I'm starting to look around for new tires to go with my summer wheels, Vertini RF1.1 19x8.5 ET35. Typically I've seen the usual setup is 245/40/19, but would a 255/40/19 setup be acceptable also?

Noticed a 255/40/19 setup here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/19/2765...ml#post4165705

I do have an AWD sedan and currently at stock height, with a potential drop planned either with Swift or Tanabe lowering springs.

245/40/19 = -0.1% Overall Diameter Decrease
255/40/19 = 1.1% Overall Diameter Increase

Thanks,
Matt

255 on 8.5 is safe, and will look good IMO. I have 255 on 9.5 all around and it looks a little stretched for my tastes. I wish I had gone with 8.5 square. But yea no worries about that size. You may want to think about running a spacer too. 9.5 + 35 is about perfect on a lowered sedan IMO, which translates to 8.5 + 22.

Either of those options will be fine. The 255 will give you a little more meat and a slight tire bulge, but I think the 245 will look the best since it's only 8.5.

I've read through this thread a lot but I still wanted some opinions on a possible set up on my 2011 G37x Coupe:

Wheel: 19x9.5 35mm offset
Tire: 265/40R19

Not lowered or anything.

Thanks!

On a coupe I would shoot for +25 or even +20

If he's not planning on lowering, the +35 will be fine with OEM camber. You'll poke a bit with the +25 at stock ride height. The 265/40R19 will be a bit tall (27.3 inches overall, stock is 26.7), but again, at stock ride height you shouldn't have any problems. If you want an exact match to OEM, 275/35R19 will still fit with plenty of room on a coupe, without bulging too much (depending on the tire you choose).

Thanks for the info guys. I'm not 100% on all of the wheel terms but I'm assuming poke means "sticks outside of the wheel well"? I definitely want to avoid that. My goal is to get as close to flush as possible and not have a "stretched" look.

There's no plans on lowering in the future so it looks like this setup should work then. Thanks again for the help!

Welcome to the site, looks like you've been put on the right path
If you do choose 265s I would go w/ the 35 series, like Chaos mentioned the 40 series will be about .6" taller and over 2% taller than oem size. The 35 isn't great (diameter-wise) at almost .5" shorter but better than the 40.

Also keep in mind the 265 widths are a bit scarce compared to a 255 or 275 width, so I'd lean towards either a 255/40 or 275/35, these are much easier to find as far as the tire models and might be cheaper???

Only caveat w/ 275s is the wider tires in front will tend to slow your steering response and may be more prone to tramlining. But they DO look badas$

This looks like a screamin deal on these wheels, but I have a hard time believing that A: they're authentic and B: they actually have stock. This website has downright frightening reviews across the board, so I was curious if anybody here has actually dealt with them before . . .

Assuming this is legit, I'm curious if I could use (4) of these for a square setup on a G37xS Sedan. The +47mm offset I'm thinking might be an issue.

47 offset won't be an issue, since they're 9 wide they will fit close to where the 8.5 +43 would at the fender edge.
Check this site first since it's an actual Nissan dealer, only a few bucks more and they should be able to tell you the true availability of these wheels.

Found those a couple years back for an even better deal but no one was able to land them.
G/L and let us know what you find out.

Intriguing, I'll check it out. Thanks! Do you know of anyone that has put these wheels on a G sedan? I'm curious what they'd look like.
