i also wish this but i was already sourcing 4 fronts since I’m about that square setup life lol but i found a local set here for 1200 with tires i was going to buy them and sell the rears using the cash to buy 2 fronts off of ebay or new from nissan.

i would go 255/40/19 i rain 255/35/19 and the stretch wasn’t too bad.

you should be able to tuck them with that.The highest i would go is a 265/35 or something. also you want to stay 40 and below. otherwise your rim won’t clear the front spindle

Thank you for the input. I'll go back and run the numbers. The sidewall heieght being proportional will be important to the stance. I dont want to give up too much tire patch coverage.

How about 275/35's in the front on a 19x10 +40? I'll have camber at around -2.

 

I'm getting ready to buy my summer wheels/tires for my 2010 sport coupe and wanted to see if there's anything wrong with this setup:

Wheels: 19x8.5 +35, 19x9.5 +40
Tires: 245/40-19, 275/40-19

I know most people go with 275/35-19 in the rear, but BJ's only sells the BFG summer tires in this size. Would it make any difference if I'm on stock suspension, and have no plans of lowering the car in the future?

 

Check the 1st couple pages on the squared setup thread, tbulsara and MylilG are running 10.5 +35 on 275s (on 20s, but that won't matter), I'd have to see these sets in person to give the green light but it has been done

You'll be ok w/ those, back tires will be a bit bigger in diameter but better than having smaller back diameter set. Be SURE you verify brake clearance before buying wheels, many won't clear the big sport calipers.

 

For the Work Emotion Kiwami what offset would be best?
19x9.5 (F) +38 +25 +15
19x10.5 (R) +32 +22 +12.
What tire size would be good for no stretching or rubbing? Looking for a flush look.

I have 2008 G37 Coupe RWD and I'm upgrading to Akebono calipers. Lowered on Eibach Springs.

Those 245/275 tires could probably go up to a 255/285 but just to give you a bit more wiggle room. The 245/275s won't be stretched, just on the upper limit of their recommended wheel width range, still a safe mount for high speed driving.

 

Hey guys I got a question!

I want to run a staggered set up on my 19" Snettertons(they are both +40mm)

I do have an AWD sedan so I want to try to be less than 1% in diameter difference.

Would 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 work? My rim is 8" wide in front and 9.5" in the back. Would those tires be way to beefy? Should I maybe go like 225/255 or is that to thin I just cant visualize it

offsets are NOT the determining factor in clearing BBK

 

A better combo will be 235/40/19F 275/35/19 R this will give you a variance of 0.67% with your back tire being slightly larger in diameter, as your rears wear faster your variance will improve over time. The 235 is a better mount than a 245 on an 8" wheel too

A 275 is ok on a 9.5", there's some guys running 275s on coupe 19s which are 9" wide, which is a bit of a pinched mount, but on a 9.5" it's fine.

 

For the GTV line they don't have disc choices like their forged wheels, but I do know those sizes he listed will clear the Akebonos. The GTV03 in an 18x9.5 +45 offset just barely clears (and it also barely clears the steering knuckle on the inside since it makes that deep upward bend), so there's a lot of room w/ those GTv02s w/ +22.
Good point about disc sizing though, a lot of the higher end wheels will have different face depth options that MUST be considered when sizing for BBK applications.
