What did you do to your Sedan today?
Last night I rebent and pounded back into shape my Toolbooth ***** engine under-cover after it got caught on a chunk of ice and got half ripped off and bent back over 90 degrees
the TBW cover was one of the first things I put on my G about 6 or 7 years ago and has so many scars now but has been worth every cent...I still can't believe I got it back into shape yesterday and the aluminium didn't sheer...just added a couple of washers to some of the bolts this time and it all went back together

Went a bit overboard with grounding cables. True 4 gauge high strand copper power wire for the main cables, and 8 gauge for the throttle bodies. All the throttle body terminals crimped and soldered. The closed copper ones crimped with an industrial grade crimper since cant really solder those ones. Not going anywhere lol. Already have this exact setup installed, made 3 more sets to sell within local circles. 2 already accounted for haha.

Ordered replacement Michelin Pilot Super Sports today. This will be my 6th set of tires
I considered the Continental ExtremeContact as well as the Sport 4S, but didn't want to spend the extra money on the 4S, and the price difference compared to the Continentals wasn't worth not sticking with what I know I like.
Sport 4S: $1,159
PSS: $1,048
Conti: $945
Michelin has a $70 Visa gift card mail in rebate offer through tomorrow, which gets me the PSS for $977 delivered.
The PSS is actually a little cheaper through Discount Tire Direct, but they are out of stock on the 275/35/19 size, and mine are getting THIN.

I'm with Lego, I put PS4S's on my summers which I just put back on.
This is my first pair of Michelin's Pilot Sports line tire and the difference is pretty remarkable. I'm running stock suspension but pushed the car yesterday through a looping exit ramp. These tires do not give or even show signs of wanting to slip. I'm been pretty impressed with the wet traction as well.

I don't have the numbers handy, but when my rear PSS had to go, the cost difference was significant, whereas the specs/testing/reviews put the two on the same playing field. So I went with with the Continentals.
Also, I was comparing the Contis to the new P4S. And my rears are 275/35-19. Pretty big tires.
Honestly, for everyone here who's just a road warrior (in their head), they're all the same. For the few members here who course track their G, the little differences matter a lot. I'm clearly more of the former, LOL. Whereas someone like 4DRZ will obsess over tire choice, and rightly so.

The prices I noted were for 245/40/19 and 275/35/19.
Don’t forget street cred. I’ve had countless people comment on running PSS, from the car wash guys to a guy in a M3 at a gas station. So, there that lol
I also wanted to stay with a matched set. I can get probably 4K more miles out of the fronts. But they were discounted and had a $70 visa gift card rebate.
