I went and looked up what I spent last summer at TireRack for the Contis, which was $525 shipped for the rears. Add to that the $430 shipped this January for the fronts, and that $955 number is pretty darn close to the numbers you're quoting here.

I guess what spooked me was the P4S cost comparison.

Welp, it is what it is. Heckuva expensive hobby, either way you slice it.

P4S was too pricey for me too.

Relative to tires, I quite literally put a $100 bill in my sock drawer every month

You guys know where I stand on tires....

Will be interesting to see how the DWS06s hold up at the Roval on the 2nd. I didn't buy this with any plans of track days but this event is literally 6 miles from my house. I'm more worried about the brake and transmission fluids but I think we only get 2 20 minute runs anyway. Expect a full report w/video...

haha, I try impressing my wife by telling her I have the same tires whenever I see a lambo or Porsche with them...lots of eye rolling and "thats nice"...lol she clearly couldn't care less...I don't know anyone who cares about my tire choices in real life, (sniff)... except at the track when those bad boys hold this fat lazy boat down like glue

The pricing you got is fantastic btw, I would've done exactly the same given the options...

I was happy with the price. Tire Rack ships from Atlanta, so shipping is generally cheap. Purchased yesterday morning, and UPS tracking has them out for delivery

Wow, looks like those would rub the dust right off those Calipers! Think I'd get a 2-3mm spacer just for piece of mind.

I picked my sedan up from the body shop today....Some tool decided to side swipe the G in a parking lot while we were grocery shopping. They left without leaving any info, and of course the car was too far back in the lot for the cameras to touch it. Thankfully State Farm covered it, so I only had to pay my deductible. The final repair costs came out just over $4k, which seems high to me, but I only paid $500 so it doesn't matter to me lol. They had the front passenger wheel repaired, the front tire replaced, front bumper cover, passenger door, mud guard, and front passenger door all replaced with OEM Infiniti parts, the rear door and rocker molding was completely painted, and the quarter panel blended. It was in the shop about 12 days. I am so glad to have my G back and not drive my wife's Malibu. The steering in that thing felt like a rubber band.

Yes that’s the worst, had it happen to me 2years ago but ended up paying cash because it was just rear bumper and tail light. I have a 1k deductible, so at $1300 I didn’t bother going though the nonesense. I did get better pricing tho, paying cash, then they would have charged insurance.

I have tires!

Funny, they look smaller on the car. I guess my car being black makes them blend in
