I've had the SPC upper control arms along with BC coilovers since 2010. I switched out the BC's for Tein Basis Z a few days ago. Besides the front being a little too low (haven't had time to readjust the height yet), I don't think I've had any problems with the upper control arm hitting anything. What should I be looking out for? Thanks.
If you haven't been having problems then I wouldn't worry about it. For me the SPCs were hitting the shock tower over sharp/big bumps where the stock one wasn't. The adjustable ball joint took away *just* enough travel to cause that interference. Truthfully they didn't give a ton more negative camber than the stock arms either. I got it all aligned again yesterday... with the arms I think I got -2.2 or so fully negative. Here's what the stock arms do at the same height:

If anything I really need to get the alignment done out back.

Speaking of which, car feels so much better properly aligned. Excited to go to to this Charlotte Speedway thing now, car feels awesome with the alignment and new brakes. Just hope the transmission doesn't punk out

From: Framingham Ma,
I also did my tires ( summers) a few months ago with Firestone Firwhawks, really impressed with them so far and all 4 installed with alignment was under $900

Anyone else thought about these

I just picked these up and installed on Friday, (assuming you're referring to the Firehawk Indy 500's?) haven't had hardly any seat time yet, but on Saturday I did try to break them loose around a turn that my rear would get squealy before on and they stuck. So I hoping thats good signs to come.

All the reviews I read were great and they seemed more of a sleeper tire to me. I got all 4 installed out the door for $708 and I also had their lieftime alignment from before.

After having new hfc and ypipe upgraded, my car sounds like **** due to custom axle back exhaust. Ordering new midpipe and axleback.

Went to local shop and had wheel alignment, car was pulling to the right. Some bolts were rusted and and need to replaced, couldn't get alignment 100% correct.

Well yea, ive got Hotchkis, z1 collars, and whiteline bushing. Car feels planted so far. I plan on writing a tire review once I get some miles logged and use to how the tires react in certain situations. Speaking of, I'll have a hell of a nice test for them in about 3 weeks when I hit the dragon!

Instead of going the more expensive route, why not just got a couple of Vibrant resonators? They work wonders with rasp and tone.

Yea I was gonna say, if drone is no issue then some resonators should clear that up. I'm trying to design a custom active exhaust... normal baffled muffler on the left, cutout valve + straight pipe on the right, 3" piping all around. Just need to find a shop to do it for a decent price.

I'm still on stock midpipe, with 2.25" axelback w/out mufflers. I want get both eliminated, with bigger diameter all way from ypipe including resonators and muffler. Perhaps topspeed brand or something.

Rochester, what do you shoot with? Your photos always look better than what a cell phone can do. But I can't see any EXIF data.

Thanks. It's an old Canon SX50 HS.

Coincidentally, my (cheap) external bounce flash just stopped working today, and I'm needing a new one.

There's no EXIF data because that's not the original. I always cut & crop, resize to 1000px width and border my images on the forum. For continuity, and to post images with usable, downloadable file sizes.

I'm confused, they were lousy when you were running them, but great now that you're selling them

speaking of alignments, I'm very surprised at how well my rear was before being that my wheels are different offsets, smaller tires, and its been about 7 months now since my last alignment
