I honestly didn't notice a difference, but my OEM bushing wasn't blown.

Nice! Where did you end up getting your paddle shifters by the way? Did you choose eBay or did you purchase them brand new?

I bought used from ebay $160 in mint condition.
I got 2x M6 bolts, washer and nut from home depot.
Installed it last evening, works great.

When I installed my Whiteline rear bushings, I also installed the subframe collars so I cannot speak to just the bushings but for me but it was a pretty big diff than OEM and mine was blown. I will tell you that bumps are definitely more pronounced now that you feel it in your bones

Holy crap, what a **** show.

Got home, pulled my daughter + car seat out, I hear "hisssssssssssssssssss". RR tire has a sidewall leak. How, I have no idea.

Also had to do my rear brakes. Front went fine. RR corner went fine and I threw on a bald rear duckfoot to get around on until my replacement went fine. LR.... forgot to put the wheel chock up front, AND had the car up on my jack on my sloped driveway...

Car fell onto the rotor  Thankfully not too much damage. Got it all back together and patched it up but what a mess. I have never screwed up that badly in my ~18 years of wrenching. Had to share

Ouch, I'd be freaking out, you lucky you didn't have your legs there, I've seen some folks get quite comfortable when they work on breaks.

Kudos for sharing your misstep Future, and good reminders to always fail safe your auto work practices. Glad you weren't in harms way.

I finally converted from non-nav to nav. Yes, it is indeed possible but NOT easy. However, I screwed up when ordering the parts, and I now have to wait for my A/C button panel or what ever you call it to arrive in order to get all my buttons working. Besides that, system works like a charm.

+Question: does anyone know the size or can give me a link to purchase extra screws that fit behind the navigation panel? These are also the same screws used for the glovebox and may also be used else where.

Can you do an entire parts breakdown / list and did you have to cut any wiring?

Im more so interested in if its possible to upgrade nav to newer nav / screen.

I went from a '13 non-nav to '14 nav from a Q60 system, since it is identical to that of the G37. If it is non-nav to nav, there is so much splicing and rewiring to do, like in my case. However, you said nav to newer nav. If your G is 2007, I believe you would have some rewiring to do because the newer navigation systems come from 2010. The higher resolution screens have 2 connectors rather than just 1 found on non-nav systems and older systems (I believe). I don't have all the part numbers needed, but I found a lot of information from the following threads:

https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...with-bose.html

https://www.myg37.com/forums/audio-v...-possible.html

In my case, I needed the touch screen display, navigation buttons on the vent bezel, GPS head unit + wires, GPS antenna, and the panel with the A/C buttons (which I am missing). It sure is a lot of work, but I think it was all worth it in the end. I am really satisfied!
