What makes you think that sensor is compatible with our car? Each car manufacture and model uses different sensors and are not universal. The one you need for G37s is: 699-SCA01B

Which part of the procedure did not work? Did you enter the learning mode?

All I can suggest is keep trying until you do.

1. Make sure the metal you are tapping the wire with is grounded.
2. Make sure you tapped into the right slot in the harness
3. If it didnt work the first time, you have to completely turn the car off. Wait a few seconds and turn it back to ON to try again.
4. If tapping 6 times doesnt work, try 5.
5. Vary the speed of your taps.

Some people have better luck with the engine on, instead of the key ON engine off position. If all else fails, unplug your battery for a few minutes and try again. Just keep trying, you will eventually get the rhythm. This is a built in feature for all Nissan made cars, so there is no reason for any G37 to not work. .

I think * even if you don't have any TPMS you can still enter into learning mode. So if you did get the light to slow flash, you are doing something wrong.

I actually used an ohm meter to test my line and make sure I have connectivity, and where are you tabbing to ground the wire? I used the mounting metal for the brake pedal.

As far as engine on/off, it shouldn't be related to you yet:
I can actually get the light to flash when engine is off key on, it would just goes solid when I start the car. So I just start the car first, then tab within 5 seconds to finally get it to work.

You need to enter the learning process with the car started. What's happening here is that you are exiting the learning sequence by starting the engine. So start the car and then tap the connector to ground.

This is a very interesting thread. I tried this and it did not worked for me, maybe I did something wrong...
I have set the PSI in each tire like mentioned. But I noticed that driving the car for 10 minutes increase the tire pressure (caused by the tire heat)
so...should I set the PSI with warm tires instead?
Any inputs?

I don't think you have given us enough information to give you any good inputs.

When you follow these steps, do you see everything that indicate you are indeed in learning mode?
you said after driving 10 minutes, what happened? TPMS light solid?

At what point you think this is not working? all these details would help us identify the problem for you

Warm tires make sense. When I did mine, I did it after work (45 minutes commute) so I decrease the PSI to what was suggested in the first post. If you are doing it cold, I would suggest you drive it a bit first, then go home then start the whole process.

I did this few months ago (before winter). From what I remember, I was able to enter the relearn mode (slow flash) But when driving, the light became solid and never came off. I tried to be as accurate as possible with the tire pressure. Maybe my tire gauge is not good.

Does it matter if I have to do some STOPS before driving constantly at >25MPH?

Sounds like you got it! As soon as the light goes out you, should get the tires pressures back to normal. Sometimes it takes a while for the car to sense the low tire pressure....perfectly normal. I didn't wait for my light to go back on...just topped up the tire pressure and it's been great!

I just read through 15 pages of this thread hoping to find a post by graphite saying he finally got it to work...but no luck. I'll try these out on the new wheels and see how it goes. Great write up btw
