quick question, have a 2013 g37xs coupe. found a good deal on a set of 19x8.5 +32 wheels and would like to run a square setup with the stock 225/45 tires. would these be too sunken in on the coupe lowered on swift springs? trying to decide if i should get them or just order spacers for the time being until i can order a set of 20s.

thats what i figured. ive been out of the g37 game for a while, mainly drive 370z's which can go pretty aggressive on the offsets. i have swifts waiting to install. was trying to decide if i should get spacers and run the oem wheels with them or do a temporary setup. leaning more towards getting coilovers and ordering some 20in forgestars probably.

I would wait, especially if you're going up in diameter. Spacers really transform the look. I'm going from 18s to 19s on my sedan. Great thing is once you settle on a size you can just change wheels without having to change tires.

Good replies Future
Forgestars are a good choice, especially since you can custom cut the offsets to get the exact fit you want. Look forward to what you end up doing. Also GetYourWheels has endless color choices for them if you want to add that option while you're at it ")

Ray's G35 wheels square setup

Finally got my 4 rear Ray's forged wheels on. 245/40-19 Conti DWS06s all around. I like the look.

Agree Rollo, hard to beat the Rays quality, strength and weight, and that more aggressive offset is a perfect square setup on the sedans, nice job!

Hoping for a little help with my 2013 G37x sedan. Looking to get some wheels that are available in 18x8.5 +35 and 18x9.5 +30. I am confident the 8.5 +35 will fit easily, but I'd love to stuff a wider wheel and tire if possible. I will be able to drop the car on Fortune coils but I don't want to have to go insanely low to make the wider option work. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Here is the car that prompted me to go 9.5x +35 all around. I think +30 will be aggressive on a sedan- I am spaced out to 8.5 +30 now and it's pretty much perfect. But yea, this tire height at ~26.25" all around is pretty much perfection IMO

Agree w/ Future, is that 9.5 available in something in the +35 to +40 range? If so, you can then run some wide tires out back. I'm running 18x9.5 +38s all around and run 285s in back.

With the 9.5 +30s you'll have to run a 265 max width if you want to keep camber in spec. and even then the wheel edge will be poking quite a bit.
Here's my current setup

Now why oh why would anything go according to plan?

Just got a call from the shop... my wheels are interfering with the caliper up front. 19x9.5 +35. Hoping and praying it's a tiny amount of interference and I can get away with a 5-10mm spacer to clear it, otherwise I'm ****ed! Going to pick it up and see what the situation is tonight.

What is the max length of spacer I can run on stock lug nuts? I just ordered 2 pairs of 5mms.

You can run 5mm, just need to confirm you get 6 full turns on the lug nuts when torqued to 80-85 ft. lbs. Sorry to hear about the clearance, hopefully it will be simple.

It looks like 5mm might *just* do it. Thankfully I have 2 pairs coming.

Wow, gotta go with the full 10mm. This is definitely going to be tight; might need to roll my front fenders. I'm also going to need extended axle bolts.... this is becoming a real project

Thanks man your car looks great. Do you have a recommendation for tire size if I go with the 18x8.5 +35? Thanks!
