Truthfully the main reason I want to go staggered is to be able to rotate tires. I mean it would also be nice to have essentially no understeer too but it's mainly tire cost. Do tires wear evenly on stockish power Gs?
Rears will wear faster but w/ in spec camber you should get really even wear. If you end up running staggered then having assymetric tires that you can at least rotate side to side will help to get more tire life too.
Just posting as this thread helped me alot when i was researching, hopefully helps someone.
Went with 19's for comfort and a little more meat on rim for protection. They weighed in at 26.5lbs so car feels just as responsive as stock thanfully. 19x9.5 + 38, tires 245/40/19 tien coils 26 3/8 all around. Have rwd but was flirting with the option of being able to rotate all tires. May switch out the back in the future to staggered to fill out the rear more, not sure yet.
*19x10 +40 is a perfect square setup if you're looking to leave enough room not to rub and not to poke out too much*
DO NOT GO HIGHER THAN A +45 in the front if you have a ten inch wide wheel. You will rub on the front spindle or whatever it's called
How is the tire clearance up front? I'm looking to go 19x10 +40 all around on 275/35s.... would there be any issues with the spindle tire wise?
They'll fit but a 265 is pretty wide for an 8.5", a 9" width is the typical minimum width for them, also the 265/40 will be about 2.3% taller than your OEM size. A 255/40 would be a better choice for that 8.5 and is only about 1% taller.

Hey blt i just saw this. I just got home from installing the tires. On stock height there doesn't appear to be any rub. The fronts are firestone indy 500 so they fit flush. Rears are pirelli pzero so those fit a little bulged but overall it seems fine.
I know its a little taller, I just wanted a bit more sidewall for potholes, and it was within the 3% for speedo error. I don't seem to have any rub now but I only drove it home. Do you expect it to rub?

Should be ok in that regard, those aren't wide wheels w/ aggressive offsets so you should be ok.
Thanks! Your comments in these threads has been super helpful, I knew it wouldn't be a major issue because of them.
Do you think if I lower on swift springs, I'll have any issues?
Should get a rear camber kit prior to getting it aligned (after springs settle in for a few days), other than that you'll be ok.
Also keep in mind if you really push your G hard in the corners you may get some rolling of the sidewalls since your tires are on a pretty narrow wheel, might make those corners a bit sloppy.

Okay that sounds good, I'll pick up springs sometime this month. Camber kit or camber bolts? For rear.
And how noticeable will it be on hard corners? My rear is ever so slightly bulged but the front fits perfectly. This is also more of a daily commuter, as I have a summer/fun vehicle (motorcycle)

If you have a dremel tool you can run the 4 bolt (2 camber/2 toe) setup OR the toe bolt/camber arm setup, both will get you in spec. Just depends if you want to dremel more, or spend more
The cornering is something you'd have to experience firsthand, best to try in an open, traffic free area just to get a feel for what may or may not happen. For daily driving it won't be a problem.

Thanks a lot blnewt. I think I'll try the bolts when I do drop. So far it grips HARD, but I think I have to get that strange sound sorted out that I was hearing and posted a thread about before I really push it.
So i was asking a couple questions and got a few opinions on this thread half a year ago. I thought i should contribute back to what i ended up going for. So i have a 2011 Infiniti G37xS Coupe. I went with a 19x10+25 square setup and i am currently sitting on Eibach Springs.
