Just curious why you want to run 10mm spacer? Your specs are right for sedan and not to run excessive camber. Unless you are going for that look then I get it...

I wanted to be flush in the rear. I'm currently running 19x9.5 +40 squared and it's not flush so I was thinking a 10mm spacer would make it more flush. Don't know if 10.5 +42 is gonna look the same as 9.5 +40.

If you look at Show Off your Sedan lots are running 10.5 +45 for the rear. They sit flush at correct camber specs.

pg G37 speaks the truth
A 10.5 +42 will be 11mm further out than your 9.5 +40. you won't want any spacers w/ that setup unless you run stretched tires.
As far as tires, your 9 +30s running 245/40/19s will be right at the fender, you may have to roll your front fender edge or you'll probably rub under hard compression depending on your camber & drop.
For the rear a 275/35/19 will be pretty close, too close to recommend a 285. If you want the 275 to be real flush a 3 to 5mm spacer should do the trick.

I appreciate the advice fellas! Is 275 a meaty set up? Will I be fine with 245/40/19? I can get a brand new set for cheap from a friend.

If you are talking about 245 on your rear for 10.5, that would be stretched...

Here is a pic of 19x10.5 +45 Im not 100% if he is running 275 or 285...

I'm looking at a set of TSW wheels...19x8 with +40 offset. How will this look on my G37xS? What is the best tire size to go with?

Your stock wheels are 18x7.5 +45, so you'll be out 5mm for the offset and another 6mm for the wider wheel (net of 11mm).

You can go a bit wider w/ the wheel if you want, like a 19x9+40 for more "flushness" at the fender. This will be an additional 13mm further out, so 24mm from you current stock wheel/tire. Just take a ruler to your current tire and go out from there to see if that's the fit you like.

Either of those I'd run a 245/40/19 tire.

They only have the wheels available in 19x8 or 19x9.5, both with +40 offsets.
So will the 19x9.5 fit just fine with 245/40/19 tires? Will not be dropping the car.

If you don't plan on a drop then I'd stick w/ the 19x8s running 245/40/19s

so correct me if I’m wrong. Every time i search for a square setup, i only find AWD cars. can you not go square with the rwd sean and still sit pretty flush all around? I know the point of going square with the awd is because of the diffs and rolling diameter. I’ve been looking for about an hour now but can’t seem to find any info thats straight forward. any help would be appreciated. I’m about to pull the trigger on some wheels and dont want to look at the wrong cars for offsets and widths. thanks

To my understanding, it will be the same for AWD/RWD... So AWD/RWD sedan would be the same. AWD/RWD coupe will be the same as far as specs that you can run. The difference with square set up is if you go wide (x10.5) all around, it will be harder to fit the front. If you go narrow (x9) then the rears wont be flush unless you run a spacer.

I'm sure this thread was the main one you're referring to~

You can see quite a few sedans in there, and even though most are AWD the fit will be the same w/ your RWD. As you can see in Chinky Choys pics most of his setups are pretty tight & flush.
Before you pull the trigger on those wheels would you mind running the specs by me, might be able to help w/ tire sizing and offset. Also are you on a lowered suspension or planning to lower it?

Awesome. Thank you for all of the help. My plans are to go with a 19x9 +32 all the way around with a 255/35 or something along those lines. Swift or eibach springs for now since I like that drop for my daily. Maybe bags later on when I don't drive as much. The other wheels I found were 19x9.5 +25. However, I think that the setup might be too aggressive since I want to run a tire that hangs over the rim just a tad if not dead even, and stock camber specs. I don't want to stretch tire Let me know what you think! Thanks

The 9+32 will be right at the fender in front, and just fine in back, might have a bit of rubbing under heavy compression since the front fender isn't flat rolled like the rear. As for tires I think I'd run a 245/40 just to be safe in front.
