if he bought the ones in the Ebay ad the fronts were 8.5 +35 so if that's the case the 10.5 +35 would clear.

Thinking about going with a 19x10.5 square setup next. What size tire should I be running? By the time I order them I should be on coils, I have a xs sedan with the akebono bbk.

10.5s are an aggressive fit, check this thread for a couple sedans running 10.5" on 275s, one states that pulling the rear & rolling the front fenders was needed. Check the posts by MylilG & tbulsara.

I know nothing about Wheel offsets/brake calipers.
I find it interesting that at least in one place the offset is said to be 43mm.

What I want. I want to keep stock but improve it of I can.
So that means I want an 18" wheel.
But would a 30mm be a better offset? Will that bring the tire out a bit? How do I know if a wheel will clear the calipers?
I found an STR that I like but it is a 30 and the seller says it is not recommended for the G....
18x8.5 STR601B WHEELS 5X114.3 +30 BLACK RIMS FITS TOYTOA CAMRY SUBARU STI

I know this info is likely available here somewhere, but do you know how many posts there are........LOL....this forum has been successfully around for years....it is overwhelming
And most people want to drop the car and use big wheels.....I don't.....
And BTW I don't see a calculator at the top pf the page.......

Appreciate any guidance you can give.

Since you have the base brakes and not the big Sport calipers you'll be fine w/ those wheels, offset is great for a little more flush fit running 245/45/18s all around.

Since you're dropped on S Techs you're probably rubbing on the rear bumper bracket, most guys just trim back the bracket w/ a dremel tool. I think I'd look into that first. If your offset is crazy aggressive then you might have to go a different route but check that first.
Do you know your wheel offsets?

Hi all,

I have a 2010 g37S sedan, eibach pro-kit springs being installed in a week, and will be ordering a new set of wheels at the same time.
I was looking into 18x9.5 +38 fronts 18x10 +38 rear. Tires will be 265/40/18 fronts, 275/40/18 rear.
Will this work? The only ones i've seen on the forums with 18's are narrower setups. Thanks in advance!

You'll be real close to the fenders, at stock camber they'll tuck but may rub the inner front fender lip under heavy compression since it isn't flat-rolled like the rear fender edge.

Thanks BLNEWT!
I don't mind rolling the fronts a bit, just worried the rears might not fit. I won't be running a camber kit, so the extra camber from the pro-kit will help, right? (camber kit will follow in 2-3 months...still saving up)

, if you don't already have the front tires you might consider going w/ a 245/45/18, it's just a mild stretch and would give you more wiggle room. Plus having a true stagger w/ the tire sizes gives it a nice look FWIW.
You'll be OK in back, your camber is probably running a bit over -2 right now so those 275s should just sneak in there.

Gotcha! I'm trying to get as much rubber as I can in the front, as I find the car likes to push a little bit. I was going the squared route, but if I can fit a 275 in the back, that's what I'm getting. Thanks again for all your input. so hard to find the info I need for the sedans.

I'll post up a pic once I get everything installed and aligned.

Does any one have 265's in the front on the g? Also Any idea if I will need any modifications to run such size in front? Some time ago i search about square setups and as good as they are, they put a lot of pressure on some suspension components, wanted to know if any of you guys have been running wide tires and what your experience is doing so.

Just found a wicked deal on vossen cv3s for $900 (maybe even less), I am looking to put them on my 2011 g37s coupe. What are the chances of 20x10+20 will fit all around without being too stretched? I am not too keen on a square set up but if it works, at this price im willing to live with it.
