My mechanic says he's not sure if this will fit, so he refuses to install. And it's kinda scary to buy everything when there's no guarantee.
Those offsets are more of a sedan type offset, and even then it's pretty conservative. They WILL fit if you don't have the big Sport brakes, if you have the big Akebonos you should try these templates first or send them to the seller if it isn't local

Trying to figure out if these wheels will fit on my 2008 g37s coupe for a winter setup.

19x9.5 +40offset (245/45/19 tires) wheels are coming off of a 09 370z.

Thanks in advance!

Wheels will fit fine, only issue may be clearing the brakes (if the 370z didn't have Sport Brakes). These templates can be used or sent to the seller if it isn't local

So the setup fit well indeed, thank you!
But I struggled a different issue: the shop found that 2 wheels were bent. It is impossible to visually see from outside, but they showed it to me on the machine: wheel doesn't spin straight. Now they want $150 per wheel to straighten them

150 seems a bit steep but you may be better off selling and finding something new.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking about. Not sure how many people would want to buy bent wheels, unless they own a wheel shop...

Hi I'm looking to install 9.5" 19" rims with +35 offset mounted with 245/40/19's on a 2011 G37xS Sedan lowered on Swifts.

Will there be any clearance issues?

245s on the 9.5 is a decent stretch...you could probably bump that to 255 without issue

Browse Chinky Choys fitments on page one, all of his setups run 245/40s.
Depends on what tire you choose too, most 245/40s a 9.5" is the widest wheel width that is recommended by most manufacturers, there may be a few 245s that aren't recommended so check first.

I am looking at Forgestar F14 wheels for my non-winter setup. The offsets can be custom so trying to figure out the best offset to avoid spacers.

I run KW coilovers on my sedan and will be running at 26.25 fender to floor.

My goals are a nice flush fitment, but not overly aggressive. Would like to avoid stretching tires, poking or running excessive negative camber (more than -2to2.2 or so). Would also like to avoid any fender work. Also fronts need to clear BBK of course.

I’m trying to play around with the calculator, came up with these rough numbers:
Fronts 19x9 +38 wrapped in 245/40/19 PSS tires
Rears 19x10 +39 wrapped in 275/35/19 PSS tires

How far off am I?

You're dialed in pretty close, I'd run 19x9 +35 on 245/40 this will be a great fit but still fine lowered and running in spec camber
In back I'd run 19x10+43 on 285/35s

I was running 20x10 +45 on 295s and the fit was perfect, that 10+43 on 285s will give you a couple mm in from mine (and I'm at -1.0 camber) so I think you'll be real happy w/ that fitment. If you want to run real big in back you could bump your offset up to a +47 and run 295s but that's up to you.

Here's mine when I was on 295s, and also 26.25" all around

And now on 285s (everything else is the same)

Thanks Brad!!
Fitment on your sedan looks great.

If I decided to go with 275s in the rear either (for cost or availability concerns vs the 285s) would you suggest I change that offset any?

You mentioned running Pilot Super Sports and they may run a bit wider vs. other 275s. Rochester runs PSS on his Vossen 19x10 +42 on 275/35/19s and he's real happy with the fit IIRC. Might shoot him a PM or check his build thread for specifics.

Hey all,

I'm having tire issues with my set up. Since my car is awd the light keeps flashing. I'm running a staggered set up 20x9 and 20x10.5. The tire sizes are 225/35 and 255/35. The best solution would be to get a 225/40 in the front but they don't make a tire that size.

What are my options other than taking the staggered wheels off?
