I have '12 rwd sedan with sport package and was looking to upgrade from the duckfeet to the Avant Garde M368:

I really don't want to lower, even on Swifts, and I think I can live with the fender gap in the pics from the above post. I had an 2002 A4 for 12 years that I dropped on Eibachs with 19" RS4 wheels and the ride height for appearance was perfect but the springs provided an extremely jarring ride that didn't offset the handling gains IMO.

Can I go up to a 275/40/19 and 245/45/19 instead of the recommended tire sizes? I'd like to eat up some of the fender gap with a slightly taller tire and keep roughly the same sidewall height as the OEM duckfeet tires for comfort reasons. I used the tire size calculator and it would be a 3.54% difference so I know it's out of the recommended difference by about a half of a percent. My question is this, with the RWD is the only concern that the speedo will be off or are there mechanical issues as well?

The 8.5 +35 F on 245/40/19 and 9.5 +40 on 275/35/19 would be a slightly better fit in back, the 285s on a 9.5" would be a slightly pinched mount.
As far as clearing the big front calipers, that's something you'd have to verify w/ the vendor

Yes, you can run the taller tires, the Z guys do it quite often when tracking without issue. You're real close to the 3% but I wouldn't go any taller.
Be sure to verify that the front rims will clear your big front calipers, here's a template to send to the vendor if they can't verify

Quick question guys and sorry I've tried reading the whole thread but I am trying to confirm for sure that I can run this set up on my awd g. I have a 2012 g37XS sedan and was looking at these rims tires as a summer daily driver and I like spirited driving well say lol so I know from reading on here that staggered awd Gs need a front to rear ratio of less than 1% to avoid burning out the rear differential and ttripping the AWD system over 80 mph so can someone far more knowledgeable let me know if this set up will work with no problems?

Fronts-
20x9 - 32 Offset
Tires are 245's

Rears-
20x10 - 35 Offset
Tires are 285's

Ok so I was reading the official wheel offset tire fitment forum. Got to page 10 and well im brain dumb not to be honest. Mad props and thanks to the members that have great knowledge of wheels and tires that answered the questions that were posted. I tried to use the calculator posted and didnt understand the results much..

Inner clearance: 16.65mm more
Outer Position: extend by 29.35mm
Diameter difference: -0.48" (-1.80%

As long as the wheel width(s) are the same, the same offsets will apply, as far as brake clearance, again, that's something you need to confirm w/ the vendor.

Do you have the tire & wheel specs for those particular results? Not sure what specs you entered in the calculator. And is there a particular setup you're wanting to try?

Hey there everyone. So it is time for me to get new tires. Last year I purchased a new set of Vossen 86 wheels. They are (20x9 +38 in front) and (20x10.5 +45 in the rear). At the time of purchase, they used my current tires. 245/35/20 and 275/30/20. On these new wheels, the tires are bit stretched, especially in the back.

I have an S coupe lowered on Ebiach Prokit. What is the largest tire recommended? Im more so curious about the rear tires. I was thinking of going with a 275/40/20.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Guys, long time since I've been on here. Car finally paid off so back to more MODS lol.

? I Was wondering if anyone has put Lexani wheels on there Sport Coupe with the following sizes ?:

Front: 20X8 1/2 | offset = 28.5
Back: 20X10 | offset = 35

Or close to it, More concerned about the front clearing the BB caliper.
I know rear will fit since I'm going from a 20X10 with 37 offset to 35.
I've been doing research here but Can't find an exact answer.

I'd stick w/ your current sizes but you could run a 285/30/20 in back if you want a bit more tire back there, I wouldn't go w/ a taller tire.
