I have a question.

I am not very good with offsets but would it be possible to fit a 20/10.5 all around with 285/35ZRF20 tires?

If not, what adjustments need to be made? The car doesn't need to be slammed to the pavement. I am okay with a gap which I'm sure I will need to fit the tires.

 

you've come to the right place! you may not be very good with offsets, but some of us are. We will, of course, need to know the offsets before we can help...with those widths and a 285 tire, you'd probably want to go with an offset in the +45-+50 range. But a 285/30-20 will be a lot closer to the stock tire diameter...

It would need to be a 285/30/20 and I dont know about running such a wide diameter in the front. Why would you even want to run 285 all around? Why not just slap 245's or 255's in the front?

 

Agreed^^ Even w/ some fender gap those 285s up front would probably mangle that front fender. I'd just go staggered wheels or stretch the front tires a bit if you're set on all 4 wheels the same.

 

Unless you go wide body up front, there is no way to fit a 285 tire. Just not happening.

Running a 20x10 245/35 and 20x11.5 with 285/30.

 

If I wanted to get the CV7s, but not lower my car...what wheel size would be best and which tires as well to get an aggressive look?

 

There's too much wheel gap to look right without at least an eibach drop. Honestly doesn't matter what specs you pick. Just my 0.2 cent.

 

^^ Agreed. It just looks goofy without a drop. If you don't want to drop, it would look 10-fold nicer to just keep it stock.

On a stock suspension sedan you could go w/ the coupe 19 wheels, the wheels look a lot nicer and the 19s don't exaggerate the fender gap as much as 20s, but pretty much any wheel larger than an 18 looks 10x better w/ a drop

 

That sounds like a great plan for me. What tire size would be best, and still look aggressive?

 

I went with 19's for more tire sidewall to reduce road felt while driving. Just a thought.

 

245/275 stagger would be a nice fit w/ those wheels and add some aggression.
