This is 20x11 et20.

That pic means nothing. You have the car lifted on that jack. Nice try though. That thing all the way down would be sitting on your frender.

Lifted on the jack would make the wheel sit further out than it naturally would. As the suspension compresses the natural movement of the suspension is to camber the wheel inward. Once the suspension is compressed, the top of the wheel will sit significantly further inward than it does in this photo.

Nice try though.
UMAD? Don't really get where the attitude's coming from, I would expect someone with 3k+ posts to carry themselves a little bit more maturely. There are some of us that are trying some new things, as opposed to the same widths, offsets, and wheels that everyone else is going with.

Yes I know exactly how a compressed suspension works. All my cars have been and are dropped. Including the 37. But you took that picture like that because if you had the car on the ground it would be on the fender. Not tucked.

Correct, it would not be tucked because I'm still on stock suspension, I just wanted to see what I was working with. And the wheel will poke, this is something that I expected and was going for.

Anyway, I'm done taking up this thread with jibber jabber, if you want to talk further about this just PM me. Pic of some G37 fitment to keep this thread rollin'!

People run 225s on 9.5 inch wheels, so I say why not 215 on 9 inch? Just my thought but I have no experience on this one so I'm also curious as to what the answer is.

Right now im running a 225 on a 9 and a 245 on a 10.5 Imo the rear is stretched nice, but the front still looks like a mild stretch, this is my daily driver too so I dont want to run a 215 without knowing if it will work or not. I might just buy 2 more nankangs and try it out for the hell of it. Those guys fron g35driver stretch 235s onto 10.5 inch wheels they keep saying to go for it lol

Yes, you can run a 215 on a 9" wheel perfectly fine.

What brand of tire? Different brands have different stretches. I have a list of brands that offer large, small, and true stretches.

I got this list from Monard Santos. The list is outdated by like 2 years, but still pretty damn accurate.

I stretch Toyo Extensa in the front and Yoko S-Drive in the rear.

SMALL:

Falken ST115
Falken ZE-512
Falken FK451 (D)
Fuzion ZRi
Nankang NS-II

TRUE:

Nitto 555 Extreme
Michelin Pilot Sport
Dunlop SP Sport
Hankook 104
Hankook v12 K110-->2c's tire
Hankook v4 H105s
Toyo T1S
Toyo Proxy 4
Yokohama S.Drive
Avon Tech M500
Nitto Neo テク Gen
Ultrac Giugiaro
Nexen N3000--> Square sidewall

LARGE:

Continental Contisport
BF Goodrich g-Force KDW
General UHP
Bridgestone S03
Kumho SPT
Federal ss595
Pirelli P-Zero Line
Goodyear F1 Line
Falken FK452
Cooper Zeon 2XS
Kumho Ecsta Supra 712
Ultrac Sessanta
Proxes T1R -->Rounded sidewall
Wanli S-1099
Nitto Invo
Wanli S-1088
For the Hankook ****** out there:

In our experience and knowledge:

Nexen N3000 runs Large and Square

Toyo T1R is True but very rounded.

Nitto NT-555 is True

Falken ZE-912 is True but I believe to be more rounded than the FK-452

Sumi HTRZ II and III are True, and the HTRZ III actually stretch pretty well without compromising comfort while maintaining grip.

Bridgestone RE050A run pretty small, and are very rounded. Every Bridgestone in our experience has run very round and skinny.

Hankook depends. But most people will look into K110 and they run pretty true. Not bad at stretching on the K110 and H105s

I think it means relative to "true" size. For the brands listed as small, you'll see some stretch. And vice versa for large. And for true, I think it means that it runs true to size.

This is similar to how shoe sizes are. Nikes (for me at least) run small, adidas run large, and new balance runs true to their size.
