But overall it's a very appealing engine bay.

I haven't spring cleaned mine yet. It's due.
Thanks 😁. I agree with you on most points. I'm actually planning on doing the wrinkle black finish on the back covers and relay box. I'm also thinking of cutting the black part of the engine cover off. The brackets are the exact same colour as the clamps already, maybe caught a different light in the photo, but they're pretty spot on.

I would be very interested to see if it could be retrofitted. I'd imagine you need a whole harness, sensor, steering wheel, maybe ECU? maybe even the cluster....
Looking at the service manual, the major differences seem to be the sensor, steering wheel button, and ECU. I'm at the perfect time to look for the sensor plug - my nose is in the garage while I figure out mounting the projector fogs. Anyone got a pic of the radar unit plug? If the harness is there, it should be a LRU and maybe software change. Everything is CANbus so it doesn't make logistical sense to have tons of different parts for the system.

I just wish I could (relatively easily) retrofit the earlier AFS/ steering headlights. We have this on my wife's CX5 and it is fantastic.

EDITED: *IS* there an online/pdf/downloadable version of a parts manual? Had them for the Mazdas and the Mini. Not talking Factory Service Manual - I have that.

I will take a pic of the sensor plug for you later today or tomorrow - have to take the bumper off again.

Showed my Sedan some love today. Full set of Goodridge Phantom Brake lines! Along with a flush and a refill with Castro’s SRF Brake Fluid. Just to finish it off a pair of Michelin Pilot Sport 4s’s for the front! Happy car😁😁😁

Received my Fast Intentions RHFC in the mail. Polished them up a little, because why not.

Don't mind the dirty car it's been raining here quite a bit lately. I will be detailing it one of these quarantine days. Tanabe axle back & OEM spoiler installed recently.

Replaced the eBay aluminum pedals with OEM sport ones. Also Installed gunmetal beauty hardware in the engine bay and tried something different with the engine cover. It still needs sanding and fresh paint, but I'm liking it. Oh, painted the relay box wrinkle black. Still need to do the same with the battery/brake booster covers. Just need to detail the engine bay now.

Looks great, makes me want to clean up my engine bay. Where did you get all those nice countersunk bolts and washers?

Zspec has a reasonably priced kit. Its universal to fit the q50 as well, so there are a lot of spare bolts and stuff, but everything is there. https://zspecdesign.com/ultimate-dre...-g37-q50-vq37/
