Haven't wired the gauge itself in yet - just didn't like the car sitting there with no oil (and up on ramps). I can drive it without the nose if I have to.

I don't have any reason to suspect a bad gasket. And, I know oil pressure is available from OBDII - but not instant-read.

Tossed on my 19s that I painted awhile back and just noticed the rears are darker than the fronts even though it's the same color can. I'm assuming since I laid the 2k clear kind of heavy it must've darkened them. Sigh..

Finally traced and fixed my fuel gauge issue that I've been dealing with for a year. Ended up being the AC amplifier module of all things. I haven't been this happy to see my tank below 1/4. Used to only move between full and 3/4.

Hm hard to tell from your photos, but mine have kinda looked a shade different front to back since they were powdercoated grey...can’t help but feel like it’s an effect due to the different spoke curvature/offset. Or maybe we both just have lousy paint jobs

either way, great looking wheels

Are they square? Or staggered? If square, just put 2 dark ones in one side, and light ones on the other, and you will never see a difference.
But, I'm assuming staggered.

Yeah they are staggered unfortunately but I think I've figured out what's going on. So I painted my fronts about a week ago in the backyard with tons of sun on a nice warm day.

I painted my rears YESTERDAY in the shed (respirator of course) because it was windy as hell l really needed to have them on because I had just sold my 18s. So my theory is the clearcoat can't be completely gassed off yet because I used a toothpick to see if it left an imprint and it definitely did. Hopefully it'll lighten up in a few days because it won't driven for at least 3 days if not I'll just repaint them in a few weeks.

Also I can't stress wearing a respirator enough especially if your spraying 2k clear. That's some nasty stuff to inhale 🤮

Installed my akebonos that I've had for almost a year now and made quite the mess in the driveway 🤷🏾‍♂️. Digging The look for sure. Now to properly paint them and add decals

You should try wrapping the dash with something... maybe Alcanatera / leather.

It's just not my cup, this was done as a cheap/easy method that did not require the dash coming out. I figure some might prefer this to what they had.

True, and it's a lot more work as well + the cost.

I finished my ICC Bracket today with my horrible welding skills. Looks ugly, but nobody will ever see it I guess. It's really solid though. Now I just have to cut the grille. I'm gonna try to scan that area and bring it into CAD then 3D print a bezel like the sport/tech model is supposed to have. NONE of that stuff is available to buy anywhere, bezel, ICC bracket, even the pre-cut sport bumper is non-existent.
