My daily G that got totaled was a blue slate with the woodgrain and tech package. I loved it to death and I miss it.

I'm wondering what has kept you from updating to 2010 infotainment. Unsure if it would interfere with the ICC.

The first thing was cost / time, plus I really don't think it adds a whole lot of useful features to me.
Also, once I had made my screen replacement / android project it did everything I needed anyways... no need to upgrade the system.

I dunno if it it would interfere with ICC, i doubt it... everything comes up only on the cluster screen.

Installed a Front Hotchkis bar today, and wow I should have installed this long time ago! Not sure if I had the stock sport sway bar or not since it only measured 1" OD.

With the Hotchkis bar its now 1752in/lb which is 280% stiffer.

Quick Tape Measure Measurements(Caliper for OD) ...

Test pipe gaskets

Kept getting exhaust leaks with my test pipes so I welded in a small ring to hold the oem gasket off of the cats. No leaks after a week of driving. Yay, OEM OR DIE LOL. 😂

This weekend I changed out the battery (last time was Januaryish 2022) to an Interstate AGM battery - have had the battery but not the time for a few months - and installed the battery tender. So far so good. Now to finish the radiator hoses and LTAI mods and drop the gas tank for the vent hose and replace all the springs again.

10 weeks into winter, huh? That's got to be frustrating.

In the winter, I drive the car once every week or two, depending on the weather. In the meanwhile, I've got the battery hooked up to a trickle charger, and my Vossens in the basement.

I never drove it in the winter in the past and simply just left it on the trickle charger. This year I had to put it away early since I had ACL surgery that day. Can't drive it with a bum knee!

Hopefully the roads are clear in March so I can take it out again. My 2 year old is obsessed and wants to drive it every time we step foot into the garage .

Snow

I’ve found I don’t need my plow truck anymore. My lowered G works just as well.

Nice job on creating your own fix. If every test pipe/ HFC brought this design we would see less leaks however the main issue here is the warped flanges.

It looks like you had already tried sanding however it still looks warped. The manifolds can also warp a bit.

The most recent car I did took 1 hour worth of flat sanding and didnt need a gasket at the end. Used High temp RTV and she held beautifully now that there's no gap

Ahhh yes, I didn't really think of them being warped. They were $150 off of ebay and fitted up nicely. I chopped them up and added resonators, so they could have been misaligned while doing that. Either way they don't seem to be leaking now after using the oem gasket. I'm going to jack the car up today and see how it looks and make sure all my fasteners are still tight. Thanks for the info!

That would depend on your offsets and how much camber.
