Oh wow that has EVERYTHING. That is tempting, especially since at this point a lot of the bolts on my car are old and a bit rusty. I've already snapped a few....

these akebonos, what year are they from and would they fit on a 2010 G37X sedan. Also, where is a good place to find them?

Yep, I snapped a few as well, drilled out and retapped a few holes. Also took the time to wire brush all the grounding cables and connections. This kit is like half price of all the others like downstar. Really a bargain.

Any Akebonos made for Nissan/Infiniti are an OEM bolt on, so they'll fit any version of the v36 G, x included. You can find rebuilt kits on rockauto, sites like conceptzperformance and z1motorsports have full upgrade kits. Local craigslist or Facebook marketplace is usually the best place to pick up a used set. You'll have to cut or remove your non S dust shields, everything else should fit. New lines are recommended.

Nope, it's a much larger rotor. That's why the dust shields need to be cut. They also won't fit with the non S OEM X wheels. Minimum is 18". Here's mine on my X.

ok so I will have to purchase new rotors as well then? I have aftermarket 18" wheel so I should be good to go.

That's highly doubtful. Very few aftermarket 18" wheels will clear those BBK calipers.

Finally uploaded my DIY video of the LED drl hack next to fogs on YouTube and added it here. Without the help of this forum I wouldn't have accomplished alot of things so paying it forward.

That is such a fantastic photo! I love it.

And I just skimmed through your video. Very creative DIY project, Saltman. The wiring to your dash... yikes! But the end result genuinely looks great.

Yea I thought yikes about cutting into my existing wires. But I don't plan on ever getting rid of the car so I went this route.

I’m currently sitting on the gas tank with the backseat out, carpet pealed up and passenger seat coming out. I have a water leak and I need to trace it down. The entire floor on the passenger side is soaking. I found out when I pulled my weathertech mat and it was soaking wet. All the carpet is wet, the foam and there is pooling on the floor. Shamwow’s galore in here, and a very sad man. I got all month to do this so I’m going to take a break and have a drink.

Finished off what I wanted to wrap on my interior trim today. 3M 2080 Black Brushed Aluminum. I did the Washi trim earlier this month and finally had time to do the window switch trim and the pieces behind the door handles.
