Is it pretty responsive? I'm worried about input lag.

New Headlights, Z1 CAI, Vinyl wrapped mirror covers.

Put on a Z1 Race CAI which replaces Injen Short Ram. The car feels definitely stronger now but not as loud as the short Ram. Swapped the headlights for Akkon ones (Chinese brand). The quality was surprisingly good, but kind of a pain to install as you have to swap the balast and HID cable. Nothing too complicated. The chrome fishbowl headlights were an eyesore to me so this was a big improvement imo. Wrapped the mirror covers in a metallic black gloss 3M vinyl and blacked out the rear emblems.

Z1 CAI install

CAI buttoned up

Metallic gloss black vinyl wrap

Akkon headlights installed.

Those headlights look great. Liking the chrome delete as well. Nice work.

I like how the wrap looks. Will you continue the chrome delete and use the same wrap on the chrome door pieces to finish the look?

That's the goal but, after all that work my hands are surprisingly sore. I haven't really seriously planned anything or ordered the vinyl yet as with the color of the car the chrome around the windows isn't horrible. Still would like to get it blacked out tho.

I have a non-sport front chin spoiler coming from a local dealer here. They had a 25% off sale. That will be the next project and maybe adding the STI front lip. I think it will add some subtle sportiness to my non sport sedan.

Non-Sport Chin Spoiler on

Stock Non-Sport.

Really nice feeling to have those winter tires off, I bet! I remember what it used to be like when I lived in Ohio and used to run Winter tires... So glad I don't have to swap wheels & tires twice a year anymore.

It's always fun in the Spring getting reacquainted with proper, high performance tires. It's like having the car new all over again.

I'm switching mine back this weekend, that and a car wash and it'll feel quite nice again. Also back to not having my TPMS light on for the next 6 months is nice.

Yes!! Me too, LOL

Man, I wish Nissan built support for two TPMS maps. As it is, I'm too cheap and lazy to get my winter setup scanned every November, and then my summer setup scanned every April.

Got my bent wheels straightened out and refinished. Paid 500 and they look amazing to me. Feels like there’s more grip but still hear a whirring noise from the front. Scheduled an appt with a suspension specialist to diagnose.
Excuse the dirty car. Been trying to focusing on the mechanical issues lately. Will ceramic coat her eventually.

It's insane some of the things Infiniti cheaped out on the G. At my work we had some heap that was a 2008 Chevy Uplander, but it supported 2 sets of TPMS and would show you individual tire pressure in the centre gauge screen.

What frustrates me is that the ECU supports displaying individual pressures. There's even an app that let's you do it along with with all sorts of other gauges not available through the car's interface. It's on motorvatediy's second channel on YouTube if you want to look it up. I set mine up along with an oil temp gauge that you also normally can't get.

On another note, a better pic of the undertray. Pardon the dirt, it's been dusty and lots of spotted rain.
