Awesome. Could be the **** itself if it has inserts or isnt fully tight. I cant see it being the circle spacer as the sts and cup and plates all bolt down on top of it. Could be shift boot retainer as well. Lmk how it goes.

Finally getting some work done. Needs a good wash and the headlights need to be defogged but otherwise I'm really happy with how everything's turned out. Sport bumper and some front wheel spacers are the last things I'd like to do. Any recommendation on spacer size? Was thinking either 10 or 15mm.

It ended up being the lockout plate. The 3 bolts were tight, just not tight enough. Tightened them down and it's silent now.

Good to hear entecee.

Installed Z1MOTORSPORTS race intakes.
Need to install hoses and polish then apply the gold heat tape. Also reinstall grill.

Butt dyno approved no doubt however I much prefer the sound of the short rams. Those thing friggin roared.

Grom

Installed the Grom Vline last week. If you’re on the fence just buy it. Took 50min to install and now it’s basically an android computer in the G37!

I went with 15mm up front with my coupe wheels

Yes, they have one for non-nav models. It comes with a touchscreen overlay. See below

Bought some beat up coupe sport wheels for my Sedan. Had them powder coated in Kingsport grey. I also painted the calipers in epoxy black

Before

Stock color

Those wheels are so-o-o much better looking that the 17" non-sports. Good job!

Whats wrong with painting the caliper black? I dunno about the rotor... but the caliper is fine.

The sport wheels look slick definitely a big upgrade! The painted calipers aren't bad but would look much better in a different color in my opinion black just seems too much like a basic stock color.

My S8 has these black calipers. Subtle yet effective. I’m only painting the rotor hat with G2 caliper paint.

They're stock small brakes. Why paint them bright colours to bring attention to it? Black or dark grey hides them away, and painting the rotor hats hides away any of the rust colours from taking away from the freshly coated wheels.

Agreed about the non-sport brakes. Black makes them look better without being loud. No cringe here.
