Just fair warning... Just as Slartibart mentioned, your stability/traction control (and possibly ABS too) are probably going to go nuts with tire diameters that far off from the OEM size. I was previously running 305/35R20's, which are about 28.4" diameter, and I couldn't keep my traction control from constantly intervening. It was so bad that I added a switch to the center control so I could completely disable it. I eventually switched to 305/30R20's, which at 27.2" are still slightly larger diameter than OEM, but I haven't had any issues since. It can be a little tricky when changing tire sizes on vehicles with modern electronics... But, who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and won't have any issues.
I can also almost guarantee that the front tires are going to rub like crazy. I'm not so much worried about the 275mm width (I'm running 265's without any rubbing), but that combined with a tire that is almost 2" larger in diameter your going to have very little clearance in your front fender wells when turned at full lock.

Alright, Nitto NT555 G2 265/35/20 and 305/30/20's are ordered. 27.2-27.3. The exchange was not exactly a simple process. I originally was going to ship them back but it would have been $180 :O. I wasn't about to take a $180 loss for a drive I could do in 2 hours (one way), so that's just what I did. Honestly I didn't lose much at all even with the gas, they cut me a little discount on the Nitto's.
I was actually considering getting those Nitto G2s due to the fact that ever since I got my car tuned I used to just roast the tires in 1st and 2nd gears. I have Continental DWS06 on all 4 wheels. Back 2 wheels are Enkei RPF1 on 245/45-18s. I was going to get Nitto 555 G2 in 275/40-18s but I think I narrowed my decision down to Firestone Indy 500s.
Ever since I installed my Z1 subframe collar inserts and Bell Raceworks rear diff brace my wheel spin & wheel hop has significantly reduced. Traction on hard launches is a lot better than it was before. I used to get a little sideways launching. Now I get a little wheel spin but it's very manageable compared to before.
I'm looking forward to hearing your review of the Nitto 555 G2s. Sorry if you answered this before, but what mods do you have and are you tuned? 305 wide tires is a lot of contact area for a ~300whp car so I don't think you should have issues hooking.

Interesting choice on the Nitto 555 G2s. I've talked to a few people about those tires and from what everyone has told me, they're pretty garbage when it comes to hooking on hard launches. Even a few youtube review videos shows that.

Nitto's weren't my first choice, I wanted Toyo's I just can't afford them. For these sizes there really wasn't many affordable options out there. These are my "show wheels" anyway. I'm not looking for the best results, next year I want to get a nice set of 18's for racing/good tires, no way 20's can compete in general with 18's.
Dallas officially gets 1" snow a year, and the average temps per month never actually get down to freezing. But that doesn't mean there aren't times when it dips below freezing, and times when it does snow. There's a good dusting of snow and ice in that pic, enough to make driving on summer tires a problem, for sure. If someone had to have access to their car 24/7 all year, regardless of temps, and can't store two sets of tires for whatever reason... all good reasons to use A/S tires.
