It's a bit of a catch 22 though since banks will base financing off book value. Couple thousand probably won't matter, but at some point, you'll need someone who can at least throw down enough cash to cover the difference between asking and book prices. It's probably further complicated by being a 5 year old car unless it's a cash purchase.

I replaced my rear break pads over the weekend got the
Centric Ceramic Pads w/Shims and Hardware like $16 bucks.

https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...446983&jsn=406
No squeaking, rubbing, vibration, fyi if anyone wants to buy it, there is no breakpad grease with these.

My new 2.25" mid pipe and axle back exhaust will arrive tomorrow, going to hook it up and retune the car, since I havent done it after upgrade hfc and ypipe. I wish there was 2.5" piping or 3" but not in that price range.

2.25 is fine for a NA V6. It's the post resonator piping ID that is the most restrictive part of the OEM set-up. Anything bigger than 2.5'' is kind of useless if you're staying NA

Yeah, I wanted local muffler shop to do 2.5: but they asked 450. if I was going to take that route I would just get Ark catback minus the ypipe, since its 2.5".
Getting good resonators and muffles, flanges, gaskets its well over 400 alone.

Dang, now I have to do that. Only ten days until my next track event, I better get my butt in gear.

Link to the exhaust? 2.25" is tight if it's single pipe but dual 2.25" is OK. I'm looking to do a custom single 3" off my y-pipe teed off to 2 2.5" mufflers.

My neighbor texted me last night asking where I get my G37 serviced, because he just bought his 17 year old a G37x. There are now 3 G37s in a row on my street.

Kinda of sad that our cars have become common first-cars for high school kids, at least in my AO.

G37 is a LOT OF CAR for a high schooler..... especially on Journey brakes and tires.

I take comfort in the fact that while there are many G37s on the road, none are like mine

As for what I'm doing to my sedan... today is the big day.

Judging by this video, I should have went to the intermediate group. This looks like the 277 off ramp during rush hour.

I would've definitely killed myself with a G. That's entirely too much car for someone who has less than a year of experience behind the wheel. 118 horses was enough to get me in trouble.

On a side note - Just watching that video was making me impatient.

Neighbor kid #1 already totaled his G37x and subsequently got a replacement G37x.

I always get a kick out of seeing cars like that little blue Ford going toe-2-toe with Stingrays, Shelby Mustangs and SRT Challengers. It's a big, awesome tent.

FauxPro is charging at home right now. I might grab a second one.

I've done some track events before but never in my own car. Only thing I am nervous about is the brakes. Just going to ease in and see what the G will do. If that vid is any indication I needn't worry......
