I guess when the time comes, a private party sale is the way to go.
Me too, that's why I don't look at the "guides" any more, too depressing lol. I plan to keep mine until it pretty much dies, so it doesn't really matter too much. I had my BMW E46 for 9 years and it had 212k on the odometer when I sold it for peanuts.

As a trade-in, sitting on a used car lot, that Purple Turtle will be a hard sell to 95% of the audience. But for that 5%, it's a find of a lifetime.

So yeah, I think it's worth it, too. He's dumped so-o-o much money into that car, all those mods have to be worth something to someone.

Well that’s the price we pay for those who mod their cars. If it sells, then it will make both parties happy. It took me 3 years to find this car and I’ve only seen/know of 4 MB 6mt sedans in the country. Take it for what it’s worth if you don’t want to be like the rest.

If it sells then great, if not then I’ll continue to finish the build and yes I have dumped an enormous amount of money into it that I’d rather not total up....ever....

I had someone snag my car for 20.5K with the bags. 13' 6MT w/ 48K on the clock. FBO on bags.

DFS, I don't think you'll get $22.5 for the car, but I hope the best for you.

Guides are definitely just a starting point. I'd bet the guide would say a JZA80 Supra Turbo is worth like $10K. That G is worth $22K stock

Todays project

I was thithink of getting new slotted rotors, but after reading some of the threads I decided it was not worth it so decided to paint my OEM Rotors because they were very rusty from previous owner. Before and After photos below.

Colour looks good, hopefully you gave them a little sand/grind in the rough areas so the paint holds up over time

Bout year and a half ago, I negotiated a great price for black 340i 4-door (6MT of course).

Then I got the trade-in value for my car:

Glad though, pretty sure I'm gonna long-haul the G
