Need help with my G37x coilover install on the front. Is there an “easy” way to do it or do I have to disassemble the entire front suspension to be able to take off my stock strut and spring? Any help is appreciated

 

Check the FSM (AWD starts on pg.25) should be similar to the RWD except for that lower front shock mount.

Not sure about the RWD/AWD differences but on my RWD car I had to disconnect the upper ball joint to get it out. Once you do that it's relatively easy. 8 bolts to get it out and then whatever you need to do to safely remove the top hat.

Always a nice look. Makes me sad that we can't tint in New York.

OEM glass is 75%, and a new law in 2017 put the lower cap at 70% for side windows on a passenger car. Really sucks.

My Invidia is loud and drones like a ****, but a lot of that could be coming from the Berks HFC. I'm half tempted to go back to stock cats until I have money for RHFC.

How much did the **** run you? Tempted to do this in the Q50. Would go great with the wood trim.

 

Home for the holidays. So much nicer to be in pleasant warm sunny temps. Plus I get to work on the ride while I'm here.

The red was $180 shipped for the **** and the boot. I don't think he has anymore red ones tho. The white was $5 less. I got it from DI parts over on the Q50 forum. Sid's the man

 

Nice, not bad for a new ****. I wouldnt need the red. Mine is black leather with white stitching and wood trim.

 

I sold it today. I got an offer I couldn’t refuse. Going to miss this community. Especially John and Brad.
