Took it to Nissan for a brake/tranny/power steering fluid change. I just don't have the time. Got a Sentra rental
Also should have jumped on that damn track day when I saw it. I'm on the reserve list
I went to Infiniti for my Trans Fluid Change. It was less expensive. Got a Q60 3.0T for my troubles. That was a while ago.
Returning from work, I think someone dropped a Rock from the overpass. Put a big dent in my windshield. I guess it is better than somewhere else. It was at night and didn't even see it hit, I was looking a bit to the side.
Got it inspected yesterday with all the other stuff, which included a report on tire wear.
I got my wheels/tires in September... fronts are OK at 7/32, rears are down to 4/32. No camber wear though. My setup is square so I'm trying to figure out the best way to stretch them. As is the fronts should last until the end of the year but the rears seem to eat up about 1/32 a month. I will probably rotate them and just get the tires all replaced at the same time, which should be like July/August. This upcoming track day might accelerate that schedule though....

Do you have to get inspected every year in your state?
future62, brand new tread depth is typically 10/32. For your rears to be down to an even 4/32 in only 6 months seems nuts... unless you drive 40k/year, or burn a patch at every launch, or over-inflate.
My rear S-04 Pole Polisitions only lasted 17k (km’s). Fronts will last double. I have never done a burnout, I don’t launch aggressively on a regular basis, and I had even tire wear. With spirited driving his numbers make sense to me.

And you with a modded 6MT sport sedan, eh? I find that level of responsibility difficult to believe, but OK.
Oh I definitely live in the world of “Spirited Driving” and aggressive launching is a subjective term I suppose lol.... but my tires aren’t yelling at me when I’m leaving stoplights.
Edit: you don’t burn off a set of rears in 11k miles by getting groceries
For anyone interested, I took my car to a local body shop to get the leak looked at. I had narrowed the location of the leak down to the front driver's side area. They tore apart most of that area and it turns out my clutch pedal was the culprit.
When I first got the car, I had a local Z shop install the RJM clutch pedal. They over tightened one of the bolts that attaches the pedal to the firewall, which messed up the seal. The body shop resealed it, fixed my loose plastics, replaced some missing plastic bolts that hold the battery cover on, and sent me on my way for $175.
The body shop dude said he threw multiple buckets of water over my car and the floorboards remained dry, so hopefully the leak is gone for good (we'll find out tomorrow after the rain hits). I'm real pleased with this body shop as I had budgeted $1k to fix this leak.

always nice when that happens, I treat it as money for other mods lol
I got an alignment done; pretty sure toe is good. I do launch aggressively maybe 2-3x a week with TC on so there is that. I do drive a good bit as well; I probably put about 10K miles on the tires so far. I'll have to go back and find the alignment sheet but I remember being OK with the toe.

Ouch! That must have been a major rock... Looks like you've got the rings of Saturn on your windshield. LOL
