Replaced the battery today. Went from the OEM 585CCA group 35 battery to a 725CCA group 24F battery. Should make it so my car can start again once it's cold.

Nice. I still need to do the same. Picking up an Optima Yellowtop next time I do oil. The remote starter and the dashcam are a bit too much for the current one in this cold.
Did you have the dealer tint the windows for you? I'm assuming they weren't tinted from the factory.
The car is pre-owned and I got a smoking deal on it. It was pre-tinted. Thank you for the kind words.

Thank you! No it is not, the overcast makes it seem that way. I am contemplating getting the front tinted. I may do the storm trooper look again on the Q.

Do you run parking mode on your dash cam? I've just got mine wired to the power outlet in the center console through an add-a-fuse. Changing the battery took longer than I expected but isn't too hard. Look into getting the larger group 24F over the OEM group 35. Larger battery that fits totally fine, it's what's used in the M37.

Yep, I do. Its hardwired into the fusebox via Multi-Safer which cuts power to the camera when the battery drops below 12V. My battery is dying because the remote start has an alarm and shock sensors, so the battery is a bit overworked. I was recommended to upgrade the battery beforehand, but I thought Ill see how it goes with this one since its just a year old.
Watched as my wife drove it off to Walmart. I love its look static but it looks absolutely insane loaded and rolling. I need to find someone who can shoot a video of me driving it

Letting it drop to 12V is pretty low for the battery, can't imagine it's a good thing to be doing regularly? That's half discharged.
12.6-12.7 would be 100% charge. 12.4v is ~80%. Below 12.0v is a half discharged battery. Might be why you were looking for a new battery. Can you change it so it cuts power at 12.2v or so?

You're right. Yeah, I'll just flip the switch in the Multi safer to 12.2. I turned off my parking mode for now.
Well I snapped my driveshaft so I ordered another stock one since no one makes a lighter aftermarket one. I’m assuming install should be pretty simple. Has any one else experience this?

Lmao, ok I’m guilty. I live in Seattle so it was obviously wet out. I got on it in 1st and then I grabbed 2nd, I think my tires grabbed traction right away and the the driveshaft decided to break. I shouldn’t have been messing around but I haven’t gotten on my car in awhile and nobody was around so I though it was a good time. My car thought otherwise.
