I've had this car for about a month now and looks like I'm averaging between 20 and 21 mpg. Mostly driving on freeways but do encounter some stop and go traffic to and from work. But this is a far cry from the 13 mpg i was getting in my jeep I used to drive.
My 08 6MT coupe was getting a little over 15mpg, now my 11 6MT vert is getting 11.5mpg. Iits only got about 400 miles on it for now and I only fill up with 93 octane.
For the past 3 months with 18k on the clock my average has been 22.3 mpg by hand calculation method (Using cell phone app). This is a mixture of city, highway, and surburban roads (30%,30%,40%). Every tankful has been 20 mpg or better, except one at 19.5. I find the car's computer is pretty accurate when I reset for each tank, but the range fluctuates wildly for the first half of a tankful. If I fill up and do some highway miles right away I can get 25-27mpg, and once pulled 27.5, but don't think that would be sustained unless I drove on a level road with cruise set to 65 for 450 mies. Stop lights, rowing through the gears, and of course punching it drops the mileage remarkably. I recently discovered the dealer had overinflated the tires 4 or 5 lbs. When I brought them back to 33 lbs my mileage dropped a little. Then I put on an R2C and it seemed to come back some. I just added 3 more lbs. per tire so will see what that does in combination with the intake. Running OEM Dunlop 18's.
On the highway, I'm at about 26. My normal tankful which includes very little highway driving, 20% at the most, I'm at about 20. I'm sometimes at 19.5 but rarely. I do tend to play in the car alot.
