Miles Per Gallon Feedback
I'm stuck in some serious traffic most of the time, thus my gas mileage is around 14 when I have some fun, and 15-18 just taking it easy...
This mileage is down by just having the car on and not driving (when I show it to friends/coworkers). I'm expecting to have around 18 mpg once that stops.
Overall, it's not a big change from my SC430 which had around the same 18 mpg, albeit from a V8.

The warm up of the cats makes the exhaust quite noisy. Once that subsides, you should drive off slow and easy until the car is warm. 10 miles total in a day is very little and doesn't give any time to get the car warm. It is not surprising that you are getting below the rating, but maybe you could increase that a little...
I drive 5 miles to school and 5 miles back. I got the car in december and its feb. its been cold outside. I warm up until the line is above the C and until the rpms reach less then 1k. I drive off really slow. by the time i get to the main road from my neighboorhood the engine temp is optimal. then i shift around 3k everytime. i have an 09 x coupe and use 93 octane gas.
i feel like warming up my car eats a lot of gas. I live in central NJ. it takes like 3-5 min to warm it up. and its like a 10 min drive or less lol. lots of traffic lights but very not that much traffic. im usually first at a traffic light.

How long do you warm it up? Is it parked outside?

The car is awesome in mpgs on the highwayI just wait till less than 1k rpms which is when the tone is smooth because if I just wait till the tone smooths a little, driving while the car is still cold makes the shifts feel really laggy
