My mpg gauge says 16.7. I'm trying just to cruise but that VQ music is quite intoxicating.

Almost all my driving is few-stops back n forth to work. I've had the average MPG and MPH meter running for the 10k miles I've had my car.. 24.9 mpg and average speed of 43 mph! But I also drive her like a grandma...

Interesting to see all the varied MPGs. I try to fill up with pure gas (no ethanol), this typically yields me 1.5 to 2.5 higher MPG. May take a tank or two before the ECU can adjust to the better fuel.....unfortunately, only takes one fill up to taint the mileage gains.

Does anyone else see this better MPG with pure gas?

Not to mention the better performance.....according to the buttometer.

I wonder what idiot thought putting ethanol into the gas was thinking - better emissions? Really? If I get less mileage which make be use more gas, am I really helping the environment? Sure might be better if we were running 100% ethanol, but what fun would that be?

That same idiot that likes ethanol also did not take into consideration all the trouble and damage everyone has with 2 cycle engines like weedeaters and edgers. If you don't treat the fuel, this crap will destroy gas lines on these type of engines. The whole thing has been nothing short of a big pain in the a$$. Glad I don't live in the Dallas area anymore where you could not buy the real stuff anywhere...

20.8 seems to be the BEST i can do. i only stretch it's legs on the weekends too
Cruising on the freeway, you can reset the trip on the navi screen. It'll shoot up to like....38 mpg! But then of course, it starts depressingly declining over time...bullssssshhhiiitttt

Something else to take into affect is how fast you are cruising as well. the rpms jump a lot on 6mt cars from 65 to 80. I cruise at 80mph on the interstate and thats at 3100 rpms. I'm sure that's suckin some gas as well.

I know its a gas guzzler my cousin has a g35 and i yell at him when he puts regular fuel because if you put regular fuel It makes a loud knocking sound. If you cant afford to put premium fuel dont buy a car that requires premium fuel

If you guys want to save gas. After you fill up your car go to kmart or a grocery store most places sell STP Gas treatment it only cost 3 dollars for a bottle you pour the whole bottle in and it really works because my friend uses it and it gives her a couple more miles to fill up and these cars require premium gas so why not buy it for 3 bucks it gets you a few more miles than you use to

After setting the MPG meter, then running about 5 tanks through to support my M-F 80 mile commute at 70 mph, and weekends running around town, my meter consistently says 23.0 mpg.

Apparently, I drive like an old man. Oh, wait a minute, I *am* an old man...
