I've been averaging about 23mpg (averaging 33 mph) with mixed driving according to my computer. Took about a 2200 mile round trip with it and although the computer said 26.8 mpg, my math said 27.2 (all highway on that trip).

that seems WAAAY low. are you only driving super congested stop-and-go? even when I ONLY drive stop and go around base I get 16/17.

Not to jump to any conclusions, but one of the best reasons to track your MPG is that your MPG will usually drop when something is wrong...so I would say if you normally were getting 18ish and then all of a sudden 10-12 go get checked, but if you have been getting 10-12 all the time something still seems wrong...I'd at least check with the techs at your dealership

My G-37's gas milage

Warm weather: 24 city 29 highway

Cold weather: 21.5 city 27 highway

My daily driving is 85% city and 15% expressway. Altitude here is around a mile high.

Considering the horse power we have in the G, I certainly don't complain.

10mpg on my new coupe why?

I am a really normal driver, I don't push the car in a city. The computer says 10mpg aver. Is it normal for a brand new car or is there an issue?

Do you keep your car on for a few hours without moving?

yes , It was like this from the start. The service guy at the Infiniti in Sarasota just told me it will get better after the break in time. This is a big jump from 10 to 20mpg, I don't think it is normal but they are not alarmed by it. We drive very slow and lazy in Sarasota.

One time our valet guy left it on for 2 hours. I reset the counter but maybe it cant be reset and it always calculates from the first minute you turned the engine on at the factory?

Is there something wrong here? Here's my stats:

Full tank: 298 miles

Avg in traffic: 15 mpg
This is when I'm driving to work in the morning where it takes me 30 mins to go 3.2 miles

Highway (Parkway/Turnpike): 21-23 mpg. Maxed out @ 25 mpg once and thats when I had highway patrol riding behind me so I locked it in at 70 mph.
