Just a thought...input appreciated
Here's another example, in 98 when I was into the import scene and all that bs, I owned many honda's. The styled body kits and all that stuff was excepted with this brand. But if you looked over at the BMW M3's owners, the Toyota TT Supra owners or the RX7 TT owners, none of those guys would put a retarded wing, kit, horrible wheels or a paint job on any of those cars, which at the time were very close in price camparison to our G's. (I know you guys on here are going to start an argument about these cars I mentioned, but I mentioned them for price similarity alone, and nothing else.)
Good point, but before the horrible movie, out here at least, we never really saw any of that. You are absolutely right though, there is thorough abuse of these cars in terms of "rice-ness" these days!

I could buy 25+ fully loaded G37s for the cost of this car. Would I want one? Hell no. Do I give a flying rat's **** that these people/this person wasted his/her/their money on it? Not at all. If someone wants to bedazzle a near $100K Mercedes with 7 figures worth of Swarovski crystals, more power to them. I could only wish I had such funding.
Point being, there is always someone out there with the monies to do whatever to whichever vehicle they choose. As with the basic decision of which car they bought, the choice in modifications done to it is a completely individual one. Will I always like what someone has done to a specific vehicle? No, of course not. This is why its called an "opinion" (something everyone has). That doesn't mean, however, that I have to rant and rave about what someone else decided to spend their money on. That is being childish... and is something I grew out of after high school.
In a nut shell, it is completely retarded to impose my own personal feelings upon what someone else does in regards to their car. Just as much so as imposing my own personal feelings on what type of car someone else owns/drives, what music they listen to, or what style/brand of clothing they wear. There is no legitimate rhyme or reason to it.
Furthermore, I find it more humorous then anything that you are trying so hard to prove your point by going out of the way to name drop. "Grown up cars"... "I've owned [input expensive import here]"... "Im going to law school"... "I'm 29"... honestly, what does any of this even have to do with your ultimate point in regards to this post? Other then trying to create some deliniation, showing why you are "better" than the people who you are directing this unwarranted anger towards, there is none. Again, it is rather childish.
If you truly are studying to become a lawyer, I highly suggest concentrating on your logic and formation of arguments. It is obvious that you are lacking in both of these departments, as well as in the area of maturity.
Speaking of maturity, I feel the need (for some reason) to bring light to the fact that I also own a Bentley, Ferrari, G5, and that I am moonlighting as an astronaut while I finish up med school.

Again, just you selecting this as an example was so incredibly indicitive of your intelligence!
Thanks for the laughs at work today, you made my day go by fast!
This is what happens when everybody takes things on the internet too seriously...!
Anyway, I'm glad zesus-g came back, I was beginning to feel like we're sucker punching the guy while he's away. I don't know about you guys, but my comments were in jest as it's always more fun to mess with newbies on the forum and the way he said it made him an easy target (is that sadistic? lol), though I can understand why it's easy to take it the wrong way.

Look at this civil war you started, haha.

I gave it, and I did.
Let me tell you that posting pictures of the crystal car showed me your brilliant mind as well as your maturity. Lets take a outlandish exception to all things reasonable and use it to explain why you think I am wrong, that is remarkable my friend! I wasn't on here saying anything about money spent, I also wasn't mentioning my past cars, or the fact of me being educated to put me over anybody on here, I was giving you a slight back-drop to who I am and possibly why I am thinking like this.
Oh, wait.. here's that irony thing again... "You should have read my OP more closely".
I invite you to find post one in which I imposed my opinion on someone else based on the type of car someone owns or what they have, will, or want to do to it. Please.

Money can't buy good taste. And if you bought a G for exclusivity in NJ then you're delusional (not picking a fight here). They're a dime a dozen. I know in my neighborhood there are substantially more expensive vehicles (lambos, Ferrari’s, Bentley’s etc) I get my feelings hurt on a regular basis.
I personally have never modded any car that I have owned and most likely never will but I can see the appeal of modding any car that you OWN in any way that expresses your personality. I see these cars on the street and admire the handy work. Some cars look good others not so much. More importantly I’ve seen modded Ferrari’s, Ford GT’s, MB SL’s etc so a modded G really just amounts to average.

You’ve made your points here and on the other thread with some degree of skill. Perhaps it is now time drop it and move on.

Our highly qualified experienced and well trained mods only closed this thread because they foresaw this coming. It was requested to be re-opened and there you go. Mods were right! Arguements are now turning into personal attacks!
