I also want to say that its been a year already with my car, I have 22k on my car and for the most part, the car has been ok-Im definatley not impressed... Some of my prior cars include an 04 M3, a 03 350z, and an 06 M5 so maybe my expectations were a bit higher for this car, who knows...

Prior to my "grown up cars" I was heavily into building and racing FI Honda's out here in NJ. Im 29 now and maybe im getting older and my preferences have changed but I'm looking at this forum and wondering why some people on here are "ghetto-izing" thier G's? I mean really folks, expensive wheels and the subtle tasteful "lipp" spoiler kits aside, you guys are single handedly turning the G37, a slightly respectable luxury car thats a step up from a Z, into what looks like (IMO) like the riced out Acura's and Honda's of the early Import days...I mean painted headlights?, Iron-Man treatment? Tinted tails and headlight? Loud exhaust? WTF? This is a gd semi-luxury car, what is is the deal with that?

Seriously I think Nissan made this car a bit more expensive bc they wanted to keep this out of the hands of the typical "Hot Import Nights" attendee and Im glad they did that. If you are an enthusiest today, aka-somebody that pays a shop to do work on your car, you should be sitting in a Z and playing around with that car... Let the G remain respectable.

Maybe I'm just ranting here because I work full-time and go to law school as well and I dont have time to tinker with my G as much as I did with my other cars, but hey...I just had to put that out there. Thanks for reading.
Edit: I just got banned for name calling and posting immaturely!

pink badges and wheels is one thing - but aint nothing wrong with a loud exhaust - i mean we dont drive vtec 4 cyl rice burners that sound like weed whackers w/ trash can mufflers - most high end systems for the G sound SWEET.

Your reading comprehension is seemingly sub-par. The entire post (and the example given) was to bolster the point that I don't care what car someone has or what they personally decide to do to said car. What that car is, whom it belongs to, or why they did what they did to it matters not. It has no bearing on me, you, or anyone else not directly involved with said vehicle. This goes for basically any individual, group of individuals, companies, etc (including DUB magazine... of whom BY THE WAY did NOT pay for OR design said car).

Oh, wait.. here's that irony thing again... "You should have read my OP more closely".

"So eloquently"? Perhaps the blood flow in your brain is being impinged upon by your ego? ...and exactly how much did that horse of yours cost? Its pretty high.

Synopsis: "You should know that everything I said was better then what God him self could have done because that is my opinion and I tend to impress it upon basically everyone and the things they own... because I think so..."

I invite you to find post one in which I imposed my opinion on someone else based on the type of car someone owns or what they have, will, or want to do to it. Please.
listen my friend, you speak intelligently but your quotes and comments show your vivid stupidity. In addition, the comment from Chekov showed me that you obviously waste alot of time on here posting "intelligent-sounding" remarks in an attempt to impress the young boys. Clearly I did not make my comments personal, you did. Commenting on my cars, education, etc..etc... I did not personally go at you or anybody at any point in this discussion.

My comments definately must have hit a nerve with you, are you that poor soul with the "custom" crushed purple velvet interior, or is that your son maybe? Im just wondering because it sounds like you are mad at me for making fun of what you are doing to your own G? You made it personal so here's me being personal with you--- Considering you were posting and watching on here while you were at work, that alone is an indication of how unuseful and meaningless you are in todays workforce (and quite possibly society as well). Im pretty sure that there was a car in your drive-through that needed some kind of attention while you were trying to comment intelligently on my thread, right? Hope you got back to work. Now that was personal Mr. Boostard.

Edit, I did make a mistake saying that DUB paid for the crystal Benz, it was uncovered and hosted in the DUB booth, so you were right, but you get that point I was trying to make.

Subtle non-obnoxious exhausts are great, I agree, but there is a problem when a luxury car has a loud, ridiculous exhaust! You have to agree with that!

Oh man huge revelation here....I just noticed that all the kids from NY that have G's are all guidos and about 19-23 years of age!!!!!!! Oh my god, I understand now!

Im so sorry everybody! I cant believe that I did not see this!!!!! That is where all the negativity is coming from, the G must be the the new version of th IROC-Z28! LOLOLOL Not only are the Guido37's polluting the close-to-NYC area streets, they have polluted all the clubs at the NJ shore as well just by walking into them! Thanks guys!!! Sorry about the confusion!!

LOL this is great!

It's not a luxury car...that would be a Lincoln town car the G37 is a luxury sports coupe..why not emphasize sport. Granted I don't care for loud, raspy exhausts either but when I was 19 I sure did, hell i wanted a legal top fuel dragster. I remember putting cherry bombs and air shocks on my 429 PI 71-T-bird... that's basically doing the same thing. Did I mention the rainbow taped instrument panel, I was really proud of that. What better way to say Guido's in the house...

BTW.. No more spaghetti for you.
