Just a thought...input appreciated
I just read this thread from beginning to end....damn, where have I been? LOL. I think many of you have voiced many valid OPINIONS and I feel that to each their own. If they want crushed purple velvet interior....fine. If they want hot pink badges and 22" rims with rainbow stripes....fine. It's not YOUR car that you have to drive. Honestly, when I see a riced-out Civic, I think "that looks like sh*t"....then when I see a stock Civic, I think...."ya know, that wouldn't be a bad daily driver."
So MY point/opinion is, mods CAN be a way to express individuality, some are for fun, some ARE for attention (but that's why people go to car shows, so people will ask them about their car/mods). However, some can be kinda tacky....but do I think it kills the G37's overall image....not in the slightest. Like I said, it's not YOUR car to drive, it's the other guy's.

Probably the most logical and insightful response YET!!
Well said..
It's not a luxury car...that would be a Lincoln town car the G37 is a luxury sports coupe..why not emphasize sport. Granted I don't care for loud, raspy exhausts either but when I was 19 I sure did, hell i wanted a legal top fuel dragster. I remember putting cherry bombs and air shocks on my 429 PI 71-T-bird... that's basically doing the same thing. Did I mention the rainbow taped instrument panel, I was really proud of that. What better way to say Guido's in the house...
BTW.. No more spaghetti for you.

I know its hard to detect sarcasm over the net especially if you are slow to begin with.
And no Lambo is not VW, they bought the company and they do not build their cars on the same platforms with the same engines.....brilliance!

Lamborghini was bought by Audi AG, who had gained interest in the Italian company after being one of several major manufacturers approached as possible technical suppliers for major components for future Lamborghini models. After a complex series of transactions, Audi AG became the sole owner of Automobili Lamborghini.
The Audi S8 Quattro - the sports model of the German car manufacturers’ limousine-class executive car - is to receive a 10-cylinder engine based on the powerhouse found in the Lamborghine Gallardo.
The V10 cylinder was chosen over a comparable 12-cylinder unit because it is less heavy - only 220 Kg. A total of 450 horsepower rockets the 2000 kg vehicle to 62 mph in only 5.1 seconds. One for execs in a rush, in other words.
With enough power to have some real fun, the 2008 S6 fills the Audi mid-size performance slot. That 435-hp, 5.2-liter V-10 from Lamborghini lays out a consistently high torque plateau throughout the rpm spectrum. All this performance is mediated through a 6-speed automatic with overdrive while the essence of the car is unchanged for 2008.
You were saying?
Everything from the way your treated at a dealership during an oil change, to the extra options your G has constitutes it being classified as a luxury car.
I believe its listed as a Luxury Sports Coupe, am I right?
