99% of the guys who have modded the Stillen kit have needed motors. The Pulley upgrade is a mod to the kit. Heck I was on the Stock pulley and impeller upgrade and I lost mine :/

 

Oh I'm doing motor pulley though not sc pulley. I'm running the 8 psi tune not 9.

 

Now I'm really confused/concerned, You mean crank pulley? Uf why.

 

I think he means he is running a lightweight standard size crank pulley with the standard 8 PSI blower pulley.

 

I emailed the rep at stillen just now. Don't wanna blow the motor!!! Thanks for your concerns guys. Dropping the car tomorrow.

 

That's what I thought but I thought there was issues running these ? An if it actually makes any WHP (+5) its not worth the risk of adding this to a FI car. The SC will get him 400 WHP and he should just be happy with that an NO MORE.

 

It's a crank pulley. Do not worry! But I appreciate your concern and I even got a little freaked out myself xD. He just emailed me back lol.

 

The Lightweight Pulley is not an issue as long as you use the standard size. Lightening up the rotating mass doesn't hurt and a few extra WHP when you're on 91 octane is always nice. You just don't want to try and use the underdrive pulley. That would cause issues lol.

 

I have a used 9psi pulley if anyone wants one cheap Lmk

Just a bolted/tuned G37X sedan. I really want to go FI again just cant afford issue again right now. It's really not a "If" I have issue it's when. An currently not in a position for when to be now, LOL

 

I feel you. What exactly went wrong? Snap a con rod? What boost pressure were you running?
