Who has a Stillen G37 Supercharger? Numbers, pics, vids!
Nice choice... I know the car well as we actually have a red one on the family. A few mods on it and it is ridiculously fast. And it actually has a trunk that you can put golf clubs in LOL. Imagine that... a practical super car.
I actually had a bit of a challenge getting an "A" pillar gauge pod for the G37. I had to have one custom made, but am ultimately happy with the look. I went with Innovate gauges... AFR and Boost.
Thanks... I was really happy with how it all came together. I have seen some really ghetto installations of gauges. The setup of the gauges was a pain as they give you a serial computer connection. No one uses serial anymore as the standard is now USB... so I had to buy a special adapter cable. Still gave me error messages
I had to contact Innovate on facebook and they told me that I also needed special drivers installed to make the stupid adapter cable work. Of course none of this is on the instruction manual.

Upgrade the Stillen Intercooler
The Frozen Boost Heat Exchanger seems to work fine for some customers. However, considering 95% + of kits out there have reliably been running the standard heat exchanger, I feel like that statement of "The Stillen heat exchanger is BAD and that's being nice" is a bit extreme. Going with an extremely wide heat exchanger blocks off some of the airflow from the oil cooler so you need to make sure you are running the larger 25 row one we offer. Also, being in Edmonton means you won't see the same kind of heat guys in Texas, California, and Miami (etc) will see.
Wider tires will definitely help.

For those of oyu guys running the Frozen Boost heat exchanger, is the Stillen-supplied bilge pump sufficient to circulate the water through the larger heat exchanger? Or did you upgrade the pump too?
Humm... I never even thought of that. What I did do is pressurize the system with the ignition on and opened the valve in the bottom of the FB intercooler to get the air out of the system and it had no problem sending a spray of fluid all over my garage floor.
Yeah, that's my thought too. The Stillen-supplied water tank is really small. So circulating more water through the heat exchanger, either by pumping it at a higher rate, or just having a larger tank with more capacity, would help. But I have no idea about the pump that comes with the kit, so no idea if the SVT pump would flow more or less.
I just placed an order for a supercharger, I'll keep this thread updated with how it goes. I have a bunch of mods for the safety of the motor, not power, so we'll see how she likes it. More than likely, it'll make fairly healthy power just because there is so much emphasis on thermal control. But in my case the final output number is secondary to the longevity of the motor.

The cold start fuel table , ask your tuner about it. I had a "hot" start issue. Mine was using the cold fuel table when he car was hot and would flood out :/
