The "4 door Z" build (4DRZ)- 13 G37S 6spd sedan
So that's the Redline cover? And you gave the armrest + cover to a leather shop for installation... is that right?
However it was done, it looks better than OEM in this picture. Take another shot, please, where you can see it in the context of the rest of the car.
How much would a leather shop charge for that kind of service?

I agree. I think the redline shift boot and arm rest cover are nice upgrades. The place that modified and installed the arm rest cover may have given me a deal as I have sent them a lot of business over the years and I am friends with the seamstress' son.

Last night I changed oil/filter and installed the Zspeed undertray and Z1 magnetic oil plug. Pretty easy parts to install. I really like the access door in the undertray for oil changes. Way easier than taking off the entire stock piece everytime you change the oil. The oil plug has a very strong magnet. Happy with both parts.

Very good pics.
I have that same undercarriage shroud on my list for Fall 2016, so if you don't mind, I'm going to make a note to reach out to you for follow-up about a year from now.
It looks like you missed one bolt, center left in your pic. And what about the 3 center clips? Do they not work with the shroud?
Did you replace the bolts at the same time? Does it come with replacement bolts? Mine are getting pretty corroded, so I've started soak them in penetrating oil with each OC. Should probably buy new ones.
Why silver? Because of the car color? Or were you thinking the black powdercoat would wear off?
A few years ago I put one of those drain plug magnets on, just for curiosity. Last two oil changes, it was clean. Nothing on it except a smudge at the very tip. Actually, that's a good thing.
G'luck. Sorry about the rapid-fire questions.

The kit comes with all new hardware including new plastic push pins for the center. They are there, maybe just hard to see with the phone pic. The left bolt could not be used as the plastic shroud was cracked and had nothing to attach to from some previous mechanic who probably used a compact impact for speed and sheared it right off. I went w/ silver because I knew I would eventually run over something that would scuff up the powdercoat. Harder to see with the polished finish.
The underbody shroud is on my list too.
4DRZ--is the plug aluminum? I've always been concerned the magnetic plugs are "softer" and thus easier to round off.

I am pretty sure it is aluminum, but did not pay too close of attention to that. For fear of stripping out the few threads in the oil pan, I have never had to worry too much about rounding off the drain plug. I have used these in other cars without any issues.
If it weren't damaged, you could have very easily sold it here or on ebay for $50. That's the going price. Brand new, those things are actually expensive. IDK if $50 is worth the effort to package and ship. Then again, simple trip to UPS and have them pack it. All profit either way.
