Yes, I was kidding. I've been reading up on all the threads since he started the build.

 

I was driving to the airport two hours ago and I see a tinted Land Cruiser zipping through traffic and high beaming other cars out of his way. So I get out of his way. He pulls up next to me and what do you know, undercover cop. Points to the right and asks me to pull over.

I pull over, kill the engine immediately and get out of the car. He comes and tells me: "Sir your car is shooting flames and blowing smoke". I'm thinking "I am screwed.. there goes my car and my flight". I'm sh!tting bricks meanwhile. I start playing dumb and say "Sir, I just rebuilt my old engine and its not tuned, it's misfiring and popping all sorts of crap". He's like "No no this smoke is oil I'm sure, go to the industrial area immediately and have it checked out, that how I lost the engine on my 350Z." I said I'll definitely do that right away. He gets back in his car and drives away.

JDM Gods to the rescue, an LS swap would've had me in jail by now
