Gotta say, your build is progressing rather well.
I'm curious, did you use a 350z stock carbon fiber driveshaft in your build.
I apologize if you mentioned already, I'm curious since you seem to be having good luck with most of things you have come across on this build.
God job, it gives me hope my car can last if it doesn't get hit like my poor g.
Knocking on wood.

Don't jynx me man! haha *knock on wood*

In all honesty though, I came across a lot of hickups and obstacles that really tested my patience. Losing the engine on the dyno when it was OEM, wrong parts shipped from the US and weeks of downtime. Engine misfiring and shutting down, cranking issues. I can go on for a while. I just wasn't too dramatic about it on the forum haha

As for the driveshaft, I modified my OEM one and fitted a 4-bolt flange to it.

Hey Sam seeing what you have done, I'm Also curious about your new weight distribution? Did the front of the car got lighter? It would be awesome to have 50/50 with this set up....especialy for drifting....

Weather was a little decent so I decided to record a quick one with the current setup almost maxed out. Enjoy! (No video bomb this time Coop!)

Hey Sam, build is looking awesome. Considering my 370GT gets blown away by modded RB26's all day long here in Aus, I know that you will be very happy with the eventual outcome!

Can you let me know what gear you used for your MFD setup in the pic above? I have been looking for an all in one gauge setup and can't find many that come with everything that is needed and the ones that do (greddy informator, blitz brain etc.) all come with horrible looking touch screens.

Are you reading boost and oil pressure from the ECU via OBD2? Is that even possible? Can the sensors be added?

Now THAT sounds lively. Hardly too much. I expected it even more aggressive.

Love that notable tempting whistle. The sound of spool.

Thank YOU!

They're Race Bred mate!

It's a setup I bought from Zada-Tech in the UK. They don't communicate with OBD (mine would be useless anyways). You choose what size screen you want, what parameters you want to monitor and they custom build one for you and send it along with all the necessary sensors with a pin & wiring diagram. It is quite impressive.

My screen is a 4.3" because I opted for 8 parameters (Boost, AFR, EGT, Oil PS, Oil Temp, Water Temp, Fuel PS, IAT). I think you can make room for a 3.2" screen (4 readings) in your ashtray or sunglasses holder if you don't want to butcher your A-pillar.

The turbo is maxed out, I can even hear it surge in 4th gear. I'm still doing my research as which turbo to go with, just need to make up my mind.. response vs horsepower! Wouldn't have had this problem had it been an LS swap

Quick update, been doing some interior work, here's a before pic of what it looks like today:

And an after pic!

Man did it feel so good to have it all cleaned up inside! I also hooked up the fuel and oil pressure sensors finally, the car was cutting a while back and had it narrowed down to either the ECU cutting fuel or Fuel Starvation. Fuel starvation confirmed! Surge tank here I come! Good to have all 8 readings working meanwhile

Yup that's a hydraulic e-brake that I can use for parking and inclined starts.
